    摘要: An improvement in the structure of an anti-shock device utilized for buildings, important structures and bridge structures that includes a base, a carrier, a slide block, and a plurality of springs. A slip concavity of a sunken round curved recess is respectively formed in the base top surface and in the carrier bottom surface, and an upper slide block member and a lower slide block member are situated between the two slip concavities. One contact surface between the two slide block members and slip concavities is of a curved contour and the other surfaces are indented seating recesses. A spheroid coupling bearing is nested between the two seating recesses and the upper and lower slide block members are held together by the springs. As so assembled, the anti-shock device base is fastened under the columns of a building structure such that the building achieves the objectives of exceptional shock eliminating capability and greater building structure safety.

    摘要: There is provided an elastomeric bearing installed at an upper girder of a bridge or between upper and lower parts of a building, for supporting a load in a stable manner. The elastomeric bearing includes a cylinder member having a plurality of cylindrical hollows, elastomeric members seated on the respective cylindrical hollows of the cylinder member, a plurality of pistons inserted into the respective cylindrical hollows of the cylinder member to hermetically seal the elastomeric members seated thereon, and elasticity reinforcement elements integrally formed with the cylinder member and the plurality of pistons, for accommodating the same, the cylinder member having a plate-shaped body and a plurality of cylinders having cylindrical hollows formed therein, the plurality of cylinders protruding from the bottom of the body. Since buckling occurs only in one direction while supporting a higher load by constricting expansion, the safety can be enhanced. Also, in a state where the height of the elastomeric pad is fixed, the moving distance of the upper plate can be secured. Further, the width of the elastomeric bearing itself can be reduced, thereby reducing the construction cost.

    摘要: A pin connection system supporting a causeway section from a pipe piling prising an elongated body member adapted for insertion through a pair of diametrically opposed openings in the pipe piling. One end of the body member having a guide tip rigidly affixed thereto and the other end having a retrieval shackle rotatably affixed thereto. A pair of safety stops are rigidly affixed to the underside of the pin for straddling the inside and outside diameter surfaces of the pipe piling adjacent one of the openings. A skid plate is inserted through the openings prior to the insertion of the pin thereby providing a guide for the pin insertion.
