Exemplary embodiments could restrain a portion of the distal portion of such a neck-worn clothing accessory without piercing or creasing any part of the exposed front surface of the neck-worn clothing accessory. An exemplary embodiment will include an underneath-portion engaging element, a connective element, and an exemplary garment-engaging element.

    摘要： Traditional tie clips usually clipping a necktie from only one side, resulting in a biased look when the tie is clipped. This may affect the overall look of the wearer. Further, the tie may be slipped away relatively easily. A tie clip (10) of the present invention provides two tie fasteners (12,14) for fastening the tie from two opposite sides. The two tie fasteners (12,14) are connected by a connector (16) that may have a recess (24) for accommodating the narrower end of a necktie. The tie fasteners (12,14) are slidably attached to the connector (16) such that the separation between the two tie fasteners (12,14) may be adjusted for use with necktie with different widths, or in a case when the wearer wishes to clip the tie clip (10) at different positions of the lower end of the tie.

The present invention employs a fusion cloth to stiffen necktie material so that it may be employed as vertical and horizontal members on an apparatus for securing a four-in-hand necktie to a shirt button while automatically adjusting to compensate for changes in the amount of slack on the necktie. An improved method of manufacture of such a necktie restraint apparatus is also disclosed.
