摘要： A device comprised of hair-flow-channel guides continuously moved over the surface of the scalp. A track cap of parallel tracks is placed on the head to guide device's movement over the scalp along non-overlapping rows. At the front of the device is a hair-tensioning straightener that pulls hairs perpendicular to the scalp before and during processing. A bend-under assembly, formed by two pinching conveyer belts, facilitates hair exit from the channels by bending scalp-attached hairs beneath the walls of each hair channel. Intermittent intersection of each channel by an obstructing member isolates one or a few leading hairs for processing and forces trailing hairs to wait their turn for cosmetic processing behind it. Isolated scalp hairs may be cosmetically processed in ways including coloration; cross-section reshaping, hair-extension attachment and removal, and cutting to length according to position along track. Hair extensions removed at one position along a track cap are conveyed to corresponding holding clips and loaded in an order so as to permit their reattachment to the same scalp area. Hair extensions so held can be channeled and isolated for attachment, as are scalp hairs. A bend-under assembly can be used to draw one or a group of isolated hairs longitudinally through the chamber in which they are isolated facilitating cross-sectional reshaping of hairs or cutting to a preprogrammed length. 摘要： A hair cutting guide comprising an upper clip and a lower clip is disclosed. A pivot pin interconnects the upper and lower clips allowing rotation of the upper and lower clip with respect to each other. A spring is mounted around the pivot pin and engages the upper and lower clips and urges them into engagement with each other. The upper clip includes a toothed ridge and the lower clip includes a groove which mates with the toothed ridge. The lower clip also includes a toothed ridge which mates with a groove in the upper clip.

摘要： A comb an adjustable tooth-bearing head piece which allows the user to adjust the head piece to any of a variety of angles with respect to the handle of the comb. The handle has two arms which extend in a forward direction one from each side of the handle. The head piece is adjustably mated with the arms of the handle. In one embodiment, the body of the head piece has a polygonal cross section at least at its ends and the handle arms have corresponding polygonal recesses. The cooperating mating surfaces in the arms and the head piece allow the head piece to assume differing angular positions in an indexed manner with respect to the arms. In another embodiment, the head piece is generally cylindrical and is pivotally attached to the arms. In this embodiment, a retention/indexing member on the handle engages one of a plurality of detents, recesses or flat surfaces of the body of the head piece body in order to both retain the head piece in the arms, and to provide a set of indexed positions of the head piece with respect to the handle.

摘要： A hair line shaping guide which acts as a templet and enables a shaver to shave his face, chin, neck and head in any desired and predetermined pattern. The templet has one straight edge on one side, two types of curves on the other side and plurality of holes for attachment of auxiliary, related components which can, with the help of the holes, be moved vertically or rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise. When the templet is put against the face area needing patterned shaving the razor and hair cutting instruments can be guided by the selected curve on the templet and give the shaver a clean shave with neat smooth hair line. When the auxiliary templet for patterning mustache is attached to the main templet and superimposed on the mustache it guides the razor and hair cutting instruments to give any desired pattern of mustache. When comb is attached to the main templet the device can also be used for combing hair. The hair line shaping guide can be folded in half for compact packing and storing.

摘要： A sectioning tool for sectioning the hair on a person's head allows individual sections of hair to be easily, quickly and thoroughly treated with chemical solutions such as hair colors, tints or relaxers. The tool includes a base member having two substantially perpendicular legs, one of which is used to secure the tool in the hair next to the scalp. A plurality of finger means are individually movably mounted on the second leg from a first position where they divide the hair into a plurality of sections and to a second position so that the section of hair held between individual ones of the finger means is released for treatment.
