摘要： A kit for creating decorative haircut designs includes a hair design stencil that, when held against a subject body of hair, at least partly defines a desired haircut design, and at least partly bounds a region of hair to be decoratively cut, said stencil having a flexible panel, wherein selected portions of the panel are removed to define the at least parts of the desired haircut design; a hair marking compound that is applied to the hair defined by the hair design stencil; and hair clippers for cutting the desired haircut design according to the applied hair marking compound. The kit may include a stencil frame for releasably holding the stencil near the edges, and wherein the stencil frame includes a handle. The hair design stencil may be a plastic or paper sheet, and multiple stencils may be used simultaneously or sequentially. Multiple marking compound colors may be used.

摘要： A hair styling tool for creating an uneven part having a base with a handle, a stem and a web portion. First and second tines extend transversely from the web portion, and in the same direction, generally toward the handle. The tines are spaced apart a distance sufficient to lift and separate hair as the tool is moved through hair to form an uneven part. A method for forming an uneven part in hair includes the steps of engaging first and/or second spaced tines of a hair styling tool with a scalp of a person's head at a desired location for the start of the part near the person's face. Moving the hair styling tool toward the desired location of the part end using an alternating pattern to form a desired predetermined uneven hair part. Finally, slightly lifting a handle of the hair styling tool when the second tine has reached the desired location of the part end to separate and capture hair between the first and second tines so that the captured hair may be divided by the tool user.

摘要： A weaving tool for use in the hairstyling arts allowing rapid and accurate gathering of uniformly spaced strands of hair for weaving, coloring, perming or cutting. The tool comprises a comb with teeth having a single hook located in the forward inside edge of each tooth. When the teeth are drawn through the hair the hooks engage multiple uniformly spaced strands of hair in a single movement. This saves time by eliminating the extra operation required by the present state of the art of multiply passing a pointed instrument in a zig-zag fashion through sections of hair grasped between the fingers. In addition, the present state of the art does not produce uniformly spaced strands of hair.

A tip of the edge part is pressed against a scalp where the parting line in hair is to be formed, and a hair bundle divided outside the edge part is pinched between the edge part and a finger. Since a part of the pinched hair bundle spreads naturally inside the dent, a stuck feeling is eliminated, and the edge part moves smoothly along the parting line without the pinched hair resisting formation of the parting line. Further, in the comb, a plurality of through-holes are formed in a main body at predetermined intervals. When measuring hair, the outer surface is pressed against the scalp, and measurements of the length of hair lengths are made based on the through-holes, while a two-point contact state in which edge portions on both sides of the dent contact the scalp.

These four edges allow a person to easily trim or shape their hair, such as a beard, by following the edges of the hair trimming guide. The curved edges are used when a person wants a curved outline to their beard, such as along the cheeks. If no curved outlines are desired, a user can simply trim with the straight edges. For use with larger or smaller facial areas, the hair trimming guide can be offered in multiple sizes, providing a larger size for larger facial areas and a smaller size for smaller facial areas, especially around the nose and mouth. The hair trimming guide is flat and smooth which enables it to be pressed against a user's face without causing discomfort.
