摘要： A hairdressing tool has a handle 1 formed by a longitudinally extending arcuate portion 2 and a spine 3. Extending from the spine are three teeth 41, 42, 43 arranged in a triangular formation such that there is provided a tooth 41 at an apex of the triangle with teeth 42, 43 at the base of the triangle, the tooth 41 being arranged to be a leading tooth, in operation. A user's hair passes on each side of the leading tooth 41 and then between the trailing teeth 42, 43 so that a zig-zag parting is provided. Advantageously, the teeth have an enlarged dome-shaped portion remote from the confluence of the teeth with the spine. The handle 2, spine 3 and teeth 4 may be made of different materials although, preferably, the parts are integrally formed.

摘要： The invention shows a comb for the formation of braids and similar hairstyles in professional hairdressing. One embodiment is a comb, having teeth of a spaced pattern common in the trade; extending out from the back of the comb, for a substantial distance along the back of the comb is a flat, flexible bar, spaced a distance from the comb. Preferably, the spacing is tapered, being narrower at the point of attachment of the bar to the comb. This forms a tapered space for holding a section of hair, and aids in retaining the section of hair by the comb, permitting a hairdresser to separate a section of hair into the space, and then allow the comb to hang free. In a second version of the comb, the flexible bar is in the form of a spring, a curved flexible bar fastened to one end of the comb, and extending in for form of a looped curve along the back to a pivot pin at the other end of the comb; the bar then is curved around the pin and extends back a distance along the comb to form the hair braid retention space. A clamp rides over the curve of the flexible bar. Movement of the clamp moves the extension closer to or away from the back of the comb, adjusting the spacing of the bar.

摘要： The present hair weaving comb for rapidly and evenly separating hair for highlighting and the like includes a set of legs extending from an elongate support member. Distal end portions of the legs include hair separating teeth for separating a section of hair into sub-sections. When the legs of the comb are initially inserted into a section of hair, the teeth create sub-sections of hair. When the legs are further inserted in the section of hair, the teeth group and displace alternate hair sub-sections away from other alternate hair sub-sections. The other alternate hair sub-sections are bypassed by the teeth and slide into hair-receiving slots formed between the spaced-apart legs of the hair weaving comb. When the legs are still further inserted through the hair section, the displaced hair sub-sections are pushed out of a hairstylists's hand and readily fall out of the teeth of the distal end of the comb and down to the head of the customer. The hair weaving comb creates a number of thin hair sub-sections simultaneously from a wide hair section and hence provides an instantaneous separation of a section of hair. Furthermore, the hair weaving comb creates sub-sections of an equal width to provide an even coloring for highlighting of the hair. The hair weaving comb also includes a tapered rattail extension for creating sections of hair and comb-like teeth for detangling and smoothing the hair section to be separated by the hair weaving legs.
