Abstract:
A mounting assembly, having a first portion adapted to be mounted on the surface, the first portion presenting a first plane, a second portion adapted to be fastened to an object such as a speaker, the second portion presenting a second plane, and connectors for releasably connecting the second portion to the first portion in a connected condition with the first and second planes in engagement, the connectors releasably connecting the first and second portions by relative movement of the first and second planes towards each other and then movement of the first and second portions relative to each other along the contacting planes.
Abstract:
A pivot mounting bracket (12) for a server rack (2) includes a bracket plate (18), a pivot member (20) and a clasp member (26), which are pivotally mounted to a pin (36). The pivot member (20) has two spaced apart mounting ears (34) for receiving the pin (36). Two clips (38) secure the pin (36) within the mounting ears (34). A slot (24) extends in the pivot member (20) for receiving a thumb screw (22). The clasp member (26) has a threaded hole (28) for receiving an end (30) of the thumb screw (22) to clamp the pivot member (20) and the clasp member (26) to the server rack frame (14). The clasp member (26) includes two locating tabs (32) which extend at right angles to a main body (33) of the clasp member (26) for inserting within mounting apertures (16) of the server rack frame (14) to locate the clasp member (26) and the mounting bracket (12) relative to the rack frame (14).
Abstract:
A motorized rack for holding the jewel cases or containers of CDs (or the CDs themselves) in a very compact manner includes a continuous loop formed of holders for the CD cases or other retainers which is driven by a pair of sprockets on which the holders are mounted for rotation. High density storage is provided by spacing the holders and their associated CD containers contiguously to one another and then removal is facilitated by allowing the holders and containers to fan out at the top the vertical tower for manual removal.
Abstract:
A system for performing a variable function such as a variable spring resistance comprises a plurality of selectively operable spring devices and movable actuator means for selecting/deselecting devices over a range of movement of the actuator means. The actuator means includes stepped drives for selecting/deselecting at least one of the spring devices at a predetermined ratio with respect to another of the devices whereby spring devices can be selected to operate individually or in combination by movement of the actuator means to provide multiple levels of spring resistance.
Abstract:
A beverage holder having an adjustable mounting system includes a cylindrical-shaped cup member and a clamp assembly which are secured together using a threaded fastening member. The cup member has a recessed portion offset outwardly from the sidewall, and a slotted opening formed in the recessed portion which extends along a length of the cup member. The fastening member extends through the slotted opening and into a corresponding opening in the clamp assembly. The fastening member is arranged to slide along the slotted opening for vertical adjustment of the cup member relative to the clamp member. The fastening member also allows the cup member to be pivotally adjusted relative to the clamp assembly to adapt to different angles of bars on which the beverage holder is mounted. The cup member has a cutaway portion that allows access to the fastening member and accommodates a handle of a beverage container.
Abstract:
The pizza support employs three holes in its platform to allow for stacking of two or more pizza supports, one on top of the other. This provides a reduction in the volume of the pizza supports and a cost savings in both storage and shipping.
Abstract:
The stand comprises a pair of stand members. Each of the stand members is integrally formed with a casing support section and a connecting section. Projections are provided on the connecting section. The projections are used to connect the stand members to one another, and they are used to attach the stand members to the casing.
Abstract:
An improved device for placing and removing ceiling displays. The device includes an installation head with one or more seats that house ferromagnetic metal snap rings or a ferromagnetic material insert capable of attaching to magnetic mounting elements able to support a ceiling display from the metal components of an acoustical ceiling or the like. Furthermore, in conjunction with a handle extending from the head, multiple magnetic elements can be suspended from an elevated ceiling. Multiple seats allow receipt of a ceiling display of substantial width with multiple magnetic mounting elements. Consequently, the system allows for convenient and efficient placement and removal of ceiling displays in an efficient, safe, and convenient manner.
Abstract:
A bracket for receiving an external electrical device comprises a dielectric frame having a substantially U-shaped structure including a bottom and two side walls extending upright from two sides of the bottom. Each side wall has a top surface and an opposite bottom surface, a first gate formed in an front surface of the dielectric frame for entrance of the external electrical device. A metal shielding comprises an upper plate connected to a second gate which is connected to a lower plate substantially parallel to the upper long plate. The second gate is registered with and abuts against the first gate of the dielectric frame when the metal shielding is configured to the dielectric frame.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus installation structure has an adapter with rotatably supporting a rotating shaft, and having a bearing part having elongated holes that cause exposure of screw holes and a pin hole of a rotating shaft and a base part. A pin of the rotating shaft is pressed into the pin hole, thereby restraining thrust-direction movement, and also limiting the swinging range of the rotating shaft. Through holes are provided on a radio apparatus at locations corresponding to the screw holes on the rotating shaft, and mounting screws are used to fix the radio apparatus to the bearing part of the adapter.
