摘要： An artificial turf golf practice mat has a removable rectangular divot patch sized about four inches wide to simulate a real dirt divot on a fairway. The forward end of the pivot patch is anchored to the rubber base by some means such as a hook and loop, a clamp, or a permanent attachment to the artificial grass top layer. In action the divot patch is propelled away from the mat along with the ball to simulate various shots. A pair of alignment lines help the golfer position his feet and provide a putting exercise. A base for a tee is provided to allow practicing driving shots.

摘要： A golf club angular orientation indicating device includes an indicator housing, a switch plate and a shaft clamp. The shaft clamp is slidably received by the indicator housing. An orientation bore is formed in the indicator housing to receive the switch plate. The switch plate is retained on one end by the indicator housing and on the other end by a power plate. The switch plate includes at least two tilt switches mounted on at least two spring loaded pivot plates. A hold down bolt is used to adjust the angular orientation of the at least two tilt switches. Power is preferably supplied to the at least two tilt switches through at least one battery and an on-off switch. Closing the circuit of the at least two tilt switches will supply power to a light emitting device and/or a sound emitting device.

摘要： A system and method for improving a golfer's putt is provided. Included is a ball, putter, and ball marker, each of which bear directional indicia, such as arrows or triangles. The indicia of the various elements are aligned toward the hole, with the indicia of each element creating a desired directional path. The golfer uses the directional path created by the proper alignment of one or more elements to aim his or her putt. Furthermore, the directional indicia of the golf ball are designed to blend together when the ball is hit in the direction of the indicia, but create a swirl pattern when the ball is mis-hit for visualization of proper and improper putting.

The rigid member has a length extending along the back of the user and the strap is adapted to secure the elongated rigid member to the user. The length of the rigid member is sufficient that a lower end of the rigid member is disposed at or below the waist of the user and an upper end of the rigid member is disposed behind the head of the user. Importantly, the head of the user is unattached to the rigid member, so that the user's body is free to flex and rotate in the performance of the certain activity. The device is designed to provide tactile stimulation to help improve motor learning responses, thereby increasing the possibility for behavior modification with respect to the assumption of appropriate postures during the desired activity.

摘要： A golf putting and swing teaching aid assists in developing a golfer's “muscle memory”. An elongated mat having a putting surface has a pillow supported for movement along the length of the mat. A putter line is formed on the putting surface. A pair of elastic members support the pillow such that when the a putter strikes the pillow, a line on the pillow is aligned with the putter line on the mat to indicate whether the user has made a proper contact of his club and the pillow. He develops his muscle memory by repeatedly practicing and correcting striking the pillow. The pillow can be removed from the pad and replaced by a practice ball to determine his improvement. Another embodiment of the invention has a pillow that is impacted by a club other than a putter. The resistance of the pillow helps to develop the golfer's swing.

The tee has a center line or mark that represents the middle, which establishes the optimum hitting area. This line or mark is also an indicator for the golfer to line up in the direction they are trying to hit the ball. On either side of this colored line or mark is a different color that indicates the swing path when shown on the club face.

More specifically, the method comprises engaging a golfer's leg above the golfer's knee, engaging a golfer's leg below the golfer's knee, selecting an optimum knee flexion angle, locking the knee at the selected angle, approaching the ball in preparation for a golf swing, and swinging the club through all phases of the golf swing (e.g., take-away, impact, and follow-through). The method further comprises unlocking the knee to permit unrestricted ambulation for walking to the next swing position then selecting an additional knee flexion angle (that may be the same or different as the first depending on the attributes of the golfer and environmental conditions), locking the knee at the selected angle, and swinging the club through all phases of a golf swing. Improvements in the swing mechanics of a golfer can be realized with the training method of the invention.

摘要： A portable device capable of placing a golf ball on a tee repeatedly without the interaction of the user. The device consists of a base, a ball storage hopper, a ball scoop leading to an arm, a control system including a control panel, a rechargeable battery, an artificial turf mat with a rubber tee, a handle and wheels, and a housing to enclose the device. The user loads golf balls into the storage hopper where they roll down a track to the ball scoop. A sensor signals when a new ball is needed, and a motor lowers the arm which is connected to the ball scoop. When the arm is at its lowest position the ball rolls down the arm to the tee. When the ball is hit off the tee, a new ball is automatically placed on the tee.
