摘要: A hybrid hydraulic gas pump system includes a hydraulic gas pump installed on the lower end of a production tubular where the production tubular incorporates a gas lift system. The hydraulic gas pump may be operated using the same gas in the annular region as the gas lift system or may be operated using an independent supply line where the independent supply line is concentric with, or at least within, the production tubular. In some instances, the gas pump chamber may simply be an upper packer including a pickup tube, a check valve, and a pressurized gas supply line or other pressurized gas access mechanism along with a lower packer including a check valve. Each upper and lower check valve allows fluid to flow from below the packer to above the packer.

摘要: A friction reduction system includes a housing including a central axis and a central passage, a valve disposed in the housing and including a first valve body and a second valve body wherein the first valve body is permitted to rotate relative to the second valve body, and a mandrel coupled to the second valve body and permitted to travel axially relative to the housing, wherein a first net pressure force is applied against the mandrel that corresponds to a drilling fluid pressure of a drilling fluid in response to flowing the drilling fluid through the valve and transitioning the valve from a closed configuration to an open configuration, and wherein a second net pressure force is applied against the mandrel that corresponds to a wellbore fluid pressure in response to flowing the drilling fluid through the valve and transitioning the valve from the open configuration to the closed configuration.

摘要: A mandrel in production tubing within a well has a side pocket with an inlet port for connection to an upper control line segment that extends upward alongside the production tubing. An outlet port is below the inlet port for connection to a lower control line segment extending below the pocket. A filter assembly is lowered through the production tubing into the pocket. A valve at a lower end of the pocket is movable from a closed position closing the outlet port to an open position opening the outlet port. A probe mounted to a lower end of the filter assembly engages and pushes the valve from the closed position to the open position while the filter assembly is being seated in the pocket.

摘要: An actuation system for remotely transitioning a downhole wellbore tool between distinct operational configurations includes a sensor that can detect a downhole pressure in a tubular string extending into a wellbore and an electronic decoder that monitors the pressure the tubular string until a target pressure profile is detected. When the target pressure profile is detected, the decoder issues a command to an actuation mechanism, causing the downhole wellbore tool to transition between the distinct operational configurations. The target pressure profile may be transmitted from the surface location by operating a pump to produce specific downhole pressure levels for specific time intervals. The specific downhole pressures do not need to be applied directly to the downhole wellbore tool, and thus the each of a plurality of various downhole wellbore tools may be operated independently without interfering with one another.
