    摘要： A flashlight holder is described which can be used with differently sized flashlights. The holder includes vise grip pliers for gripping structure adjacent a location it is desired to illuminate. A connector of the holder includes a collar for one size flashlight, as well as two rings for flashlights of other sizes. A bolt is threaded within the collar and acts as an adjustment mechanism for connection to any one of the differently sized flashlights. An interface device which secures the connector to the vise grip pliers facilitates the holding of flashlights or other objects of different weights. Its construction includes a mating ball and socket structure cap and a housing for a bolt on another adjustment mechanism provided as part of the vise grip pliers. The housing and cap are so secured together by bolts that tightening or loosening them changes the resistance to movement of the ball within the socket and movement of the interface device relative to the vise grip pliers.

    摘要： An improved clamp-type lamp holder which allows the lamp head to be vertically adjusted and all the directional and angle adjustments can be effectuated above the clamp seat. The lamp holder comprises: (1) a lamp body, a holder clamp, a hanger, and a lamp head, the lamp stem comprising a stem body and a connection body; (2) a projecting post provided on the bottom end of the stem body which is inserted into a first hole provided in the top portion of the connection body; (3) a tubular plastic bushing for sleeving about the projection post within the connection body; (4) a threaded screw which is upwardly threaded into a thread hole in the projecting post of the stem body so as to affix the stem body with the connection body and form the lamp body via a washer which is disposed below the tubular plastic bushing; (5) a longitudinal groove formed near the lower end of the connection body; (6) a transversal notch formed near the longitudinal groove for receiving a long washer to be fitted therein, the transversal notch including a horizontal through hole; and (7) a hand screw to be inserted through the horizontal through hole in the transversal notch and another through hole provided in a projecting seat of the holder clamp so as to allow the stem body, the connection body, and the lamp clamp to be affixed together while allowing the lamp body to swing in a desired angle.

    摘要： A flexible support arm attached to a base at one end and supporting an object attached at the other end in a selected position is comprised of a plurality of segmented modules having segments arranged in partial overlapping relationship at their ends to form an elongated arm, pivot pins connecting the overlapping parts of the segments together so that adjacent modules are rotatable with respect to each other about the pivot axes, and the modules having a gradually decreasing number of segments from the base end to the outer end. The modules can be a plurality of parallel spaced elongated flat planar elements interfitted at their ends into spaces between the segments of adjacent modules, or the segments can be parallel spaced planar elements extending in opposite directions from the opposite sides of a central part of a single module. The large number of segments and the large contacting area at the interfaces of the segments of adjacent modules provide substantial friction to retain the flexible arm in any set position and even with a substantial load supported on the end.

    摘要： An adjustable joint for electrical fixtures and the like is constructed of two opposed hollowed housing members having circular mating surfaces that are toothed. A spring internally joins the two housing members and urges them together in a yieldably lockable arrangement. The spring is disposed and arranged to avoid passing through or blocking a passage between the circular mating surfaces, and provides a pivot for adjustment. The toothed mating surfaces serve as both a bearing and a lock.
