    摘要: A multipurpose solar lighter for conveniently lighting a cigarette, tinder, or other flammable objects, includes a hollow upper part, which further includes an upper elongated piece, a convex lens, and a stopping tab; and a hollow lower part; such that the upper part connects to the lower part, whereby a cigarette can be inserted into the solar lighter, until it reaches the stopping tab, and is lighted by focused solar light. The upper part can also be used separately to ignite tinder. Furthermore, the solar lighter can include a fire steel surface and a fire striker, and end mounted thumb caps for holding the upper and lower parts, when striking the fire steel surface with the fire striker to produce sparks that can light a fire.

    摘要: A control system is provided for energizing an electrical load, in the form of a spark ignition transformer, so that the load is energized for a portion of each cycle of the applied alternating current in a first version, whereas, the load can be energized for a portion of each half cycle of the applied alternating current voltage in a second version. The control circuit utilizes a bridge configuration that is connected by a fuel burner control system to a source of alternating current. The bridge has an energy storage means in the form of a capacitor paralleled by a Zener diode in one leg for storage of energy during the initial rising portion of the applied alternating current voltage. When a fixed voltage has been reached, late in the applied voltage wave form, a programmable unijunction transistor is triggered into conduction and through a pulse transformer causes a solid state switch to become conductive through the primary spark ignition transformer for the fuel burner system.

    摘要: An improved operator is disclosed which greatly amplifies the relatively small expansion and contraction movements of a heat expansible wire connected in series with an electric igniter having a positive coefficient of resistance. As the igniter changes temperature its electrical resistance also changes causing a difference in current flow through the wire and accordingly an expansion or contraction thereof. Lever means attached to the wire amplify this movement and utilize it to selectively actuate switches controlling energization of both the electric igniter and an electrically actuated fuel valve providing fuel to a burner.
