    摘要: A cap electric lamp of the type used in optical systems, for example, or as a vehicle headlamp, includes a glass lamp vessel with a first and a second neck-shaped portion in mutually opposing arrangement with seals through which current supply conductors extend to an electric element arranged in the lamp vessel. A metal sleeve is provided having a longitudinal slot around the first neck-shaped portion holding the lamp vessel with a clamping fit. This sleeve has a welding zone and a first and second clamping zone, each of which has a loop in the shape of an open hair pin. The clamping zones have respective, mutually opposing welding lugs which are interconnected by a welded joint so as to close the sleeve. A metal fixing member is provided with tongues which are welded to the sleeve in a welding zone of the sleeve. A lamp cap of insulating material is connected to the lamp vessel in which the fixing member is fixed and which has contact members to which the current supply conductors are connected. The welding zone is provided with mutually opposing closing tags alongside the longitudinal slot.

    摘要: The HID lamp, suitable for use as a vehicle headlamp, includes a lamp cap having a first, central recess, a second, annular recess surrounding the central recess, and a third recess separated from the first and second recesses. The recesses accommodate a first end of the discharge vessel and a first current supply conductor, a fixation member, and second current supply conductor, respectively. The fixation member is frictionally fixed in the annular recess by resilient tongues and is welded to a clamping member holding a sealed end of the discharge vessel. The lamp construction allows for adjustably mounting the discharge vessel to the lamp cap and avoids harmful and disadvantageous electrical high-voltage and high-frequency effects through electrical isolation of the clamping and fixation members.

    摘要: A fluorescent lamp device with an incandescent bulb type base cap. The fluorescent lamp device has a luminous tube unit and a case with one end supporting the luminous tube unit, and the other end has an outwardly projecting portion. A ballast is provided in the case, and a base cap is adapted to be rotatably fitted to the projecting portion of the case. The outer periphery of the projecting portion of the case has an engagement groove formed in it and a stopper portion which is formed in the axial direction of the case. An engagement portion, a guide groove and a rotation limiting groove having a rotation stopper portion are successively provided for the inner surface at one end of the base cap disposed in that order starting from the one end of the base cap. By fitting the engagement portion of the base cap in the engagement groove of the case, fitting one end of the projecting portion of the case in the guide groove of the base cap, fitting the stopper portion of the base cap in the rotation limiting groove of the base cap, and rotating the stopper portion so that it is fitted in the rotation limiting groove, the luminous tube unit and the case can be rotatably fitted to the base cap, and rotation of the stopper portion can be prevented by the rotation stopper portion.
