摘要: A method of controlling a hydraulic control system of a material handling vehicle is provided. The method includes detecting an elevated height of a fork assembly, determining if the elevated height is above a first predetermined height threshold, and actuating a first low pressure control valve from a control valve closed position to a control valve open position to provide fluid communication from a supply passage to the first low pressure relief valve when the elevated height is above a first predetermined height threshold.

摘要: A system for transmitting data between components of an industrial vehicle that are powered by electricity received through a power line is provided. The system includes a first electrical choke with a conductor arranged to pass through the first electrical choke and to connect a first component to the power line, and a first communication circuit for at least one of sending and receiving signals and having a transmission wire for carrying the signals. When the first communication circuit transmits a communication signal, the communication signal passes along the transmission wire through the first electrical choke in a first direction, and subsequently the communication signal passes along the conductor through the first electrical choke in a second direction opposite to the first direction thereby cancelling attenuation of the communication signal by the first electrical choke.

摘要: An industrial vehicle has a controller connected to a plurality of sensors for accumulating information related to operation of the vehicle. The controller employs that information in governing further vehicle operation to reduce the likelihood of damage to the vehicle or a load being transported. The information also is analyzed to determine how efficiently the industrial vehicle and its operator are performing in relation to performance benchmarks for the vehicle and in comparison to other industrial vehicles. Performance of the industrial vehicle can be limited to conserve battery power and restrict recharging the battery to off-peak hours of an electrical utility. When the sensors detect a malfunction of the industrial vehicle, a fault code is produced. A service technician can use that fault code to automatically access service manuals stored in the computer system of the vehicle and obtain information for diagnosing and correcting the malfunction.
