摘要: A computer with a proper program generates a phased array sequence of signals. In a pulser with delays, the signals are fed through a multiplexor into multiple water wedges that are attached to a lift-type check valve being tested. For a sequential operation of the lift-type check valves from the open to the closed position, ultrasonic signals are transmitted through the fluid contained in the valve and reflected back through piezo-electric crystals to the multiplexor. By summation and merger of the signals, an image can be developed of the operation of the lift-type check valve to determine if the lift-type check valve is operating properly. By comparing the signals received with a known standard for that lift-type check valve, proper operation, or lack thereof, of the lift-type check valve under test can be determined.

摘要: A container is constructed to carry granular material from a quarry or source to the frac site. An open frame the size of a standard cargo container is constructed. An enclosed hopper is formed using flat sheet metal with bolted together perpendicular edges. The hopper is set within, and attached to, the frame. Top hatches provide for loading the hopper, and a lower sliding gate in a bottom opening provides for unloading the hopper. The bottom of the hopper is at an angle slightly above the angle of repose of the granular material carried therein.

摘要: Two plates, corresponding to the diameter of a length of riveting material being used, act as gauges and are placed separately on the top and bottom of at least one components to be made into a jewelry item. The length of material, such as a wire or tubing, is passed through holes in all the components, and the holes of the plates. This allows the jewelry maker to cut the length of material flush with the exposed surface of the plate on the top of the stack. This automatically measures the optimal length of material needed to span the combined thickness of all the components to be riveted together, while providing the desired length exposed at the top and bottom of the stacked pieces, to fashion a properly formed and secure flattened rivet head on each end of the length of material.

摘要: A cargo container is modified to carry a fracing proppant such as sand from a quarry or source to the frac site. Openings are cut in the top and bottom of a cargo container and hydraulically operated sliding doors are placed there under. A hopper module with the walls being inclined to approximately the angle of repose for the proppant is installed inside the cargo container. The hopper module is sealed inside the cargo container so that a proppant enters through the top opening at the quarry and flows out through the bottom opening at the fracing site.

摘要: A high precision, reciprocating bob viscometer is shown that has two coils (A and B) encircling a reciprocating bob. Coil A is energized with a combined sinusoidal and DC signal, while coil B senses the position of the reciprocating bob, then the functions of coils A and B are reversed. By use of a large digitally-generated near resonance frequency sinusoidal signal, noise is reduced because there is no need for amplification. The sensed signal amplitude measurement is in the digital time domain instead of through analog amplitude measurements, which further eliminates signal noise. These advancements provide faster, highly accurate, low noise measurements of bob position and velocity to determine fluid/gas viscosity and related properties using a reciprocating bob viscometer. These related properties include measurements of density, shear sensitivity, yield stress, and other measurements described in prior art patents.

摘要: A harness system comprised of a harness assembly having adjustable shoulder and waist straps connected therewith secured at two points of engagement to an anchoring assembly permanently anchored to a baby carrier. A padding member is attached to the shoulder strap of the harness assembly extending over either side of the user's shoulder. The adjustability of the present invention provides a system that accommodates users of various sizes. The anchoring assembly is comprised of a plurality of washers, a plurality of anchoring straps, and at least one spacer secured to a carrier bar of the carrier by a fastener and a lock nut. Two anchoring straps on each side of the carrier allow the harness assembly to be releasably anchored to either side of the anchoring assembly depending upon the user's preference. Once the harness assembly is connected to the carrier, the user may carry the carrier “hands-free.”

摘要: An atmospheric storage mechanical weigh batch blend plant is shown with atmospheric storage for providing a dry, pre-blend, oilfield cement ready for mixing at the wellhead for slurry injection into a well head upon adding the proper amount of water and other fluids. The batch blend plant has three separate weighing mechanisms for (a) larger or bulk quantity materials, (b) intermediate quantities of materials, and (c) small amounts of additives to be included to the mixture. The entire weigh batch blend plant can be disassembled and moved. A special pressurized air bearing is used in the blender.
