    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a substrate, first and second insulating layers, first and second pixel electrodes, first and second organic layers, first and second feed lines, first and second partitions, and a common electrode including first and second parts covering the first and second organic layers. The first organic layer is between the partitions. The second feed line and the second partition are located between the organic layers. The partitions are shaped such that a width of an upper part is greater than a width of a lower part. The first part is in contact with the first feed line between the first partition and the first organic layer.

    Abstract: A transverse electric field type liquid crystal display panel includes a pair of substrates opposed with a liquid crystal layer interposed therebetween. A light shield layer shielding a non-display area positioned on an outer peripheral side of the display area and between the plurality of sub-pixels is formed on the other side of the pair of substrates. The light shield layer of the non-display area is formed in a shape in which the outermost peripheral side of the display area is rectangular.

    Abstract: According to an aspect, a light adjustment device includes: first, second, and third frames and light adjustment panels. The first frame, the second frame, and the third frame have annular shapes and are stacked in a first direction. The second frame includes a first cutout into which the first hook is hooked, and a second hook that protrudes to the one side in the first direction.     Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to realize a high contrast display with liquid crystal display device using a liquid crystal light valve. A representative structure is as follows. A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, a backlight, and a liquid crystal light valve; the light valve includes a plurality of first electrodes extending in a first direction and formed on the first substrate; a first insulating film is formed on the first electrode; a plurality of second electrodes are formed in a matrix at predetermined intervals on the first insulating film; a second insulating film is formed on the second electrodes; a plurality of third electrodes extending in a second direction are formed on the second insulating film; the liquid crystal is sandwiched between the third electrodes and the second substrate; the predetermined interval between the second electrodes is 2 to 10 μm.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a motherboard includes inspection pads for adjacent short-circuiting inspection. The motherboard includes a first high-resistance wiring line connecting the inspection pads to each other, a first cut line set to cut out a plurality of display devices from the motherboard, and a second cut line set along an outline shape of each single display device. The inspection pads are each located between the first cut line and the second cut line. The first high-resistance wiring line is disposed across the first cut line and cut along the first cut line before the inspection using the inspection pads. The inspection pads are not connected to each other by the first high-resistance wiring line at the time of the inspection.
