Abstract:
A radiator element for RF transmission and reception over a wide band of frequencies. The radiator element is formed of conductive material on substrate surface of conductive material in the form of a pair of horns extending in opposite directions to distal tips defining the widest distance of a mouth of a cavity. The mouth reduces in cross-section to a narrowest point in between said pair of horns. The resulting radiator element will radiate and receive frequencies between frequencies the distance of the widest point and narrowest point are sized to receive.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a modulation device for generating an optical signal with quadruple frequency and the modulation method thereof. The modulation device in the present invention utilizes a commercial integrated modulator, a RF signal generator and a phase shifter to generate an optical signal with quadruple frequency. When the RF signal generator generates a first modulation signal, and the phase shifter shifts the first modulation signal by 90 degrees to generate a second modulation signal, the integrated modulator is biased to transmit the optical signal in maximum value and to modulate the first and second modulation signal so as to generate a output optical signal with quadruple frequency.

Abstract:
An information retrieval method includes pre-processing a set of historical query information and processing a user query. Pre-processing a set of historical query information includes determining a plurality of semantic patterns based on a plurality of queries in the set of historical query information; establishing correspondence relationships between the plurality of semantic patterns and a plurality of filtering and ranking operations. Processing a user query comprises receiving the user query; retrieve a plurality of results in response to the user query; determining a semantic pattern that corresponds to the user query; determining a set of filtering and ranking operations that corresponds to the semantic pattern based on the correspondence relationships; and performing the set of filtering and ranking operations on the plurality of results to generate a set of filtered and ranked results.
