摘要: A device and method for altering the appearance of any eyeglasses by generating and applying an eyewear appliqué. Users may alter the façade of eyeglasses without the cost of new glasses. Users may create a profile including a frame scan file from a camera or scanner and specific design elements to create a vector file that is processed by the appliqué application to produce an appliqué with alternative design elements. The appliqué application produces an appliqué from the scan file and user preferences. The appliqué is peeled from the release liner to and then pressed onto the user's frame to create the newly designed eyewear appliqué and custom look. The adhesive used in the production process allows the eyewear appliqués to be removed from frames and reapplied multiple times. The user can easily remove an eyewear appliqué by peeling and replacing it with another for an alternative look.

At least some of the sheets each have an irregular shape. The sheets each contain a hygroscopic agent having properties of a re-moistening-type glue that exhibits adherence when adsorbing moisture and that solidifies when being dried. The sheets are bonded to each other by the hygroscopic agent.

摘要: An engineered wood based siding, cladding or panel with a pre-consolidated fines layer (PCF) applied to the top of the main strand matrix layers to minimize telegraphing and provide an improved surface appearance. The PCF is consolidated prior to application to the surface of the strand matrix or mat, and takes the place of a loose fines layer. The PCF prevents the loss of fines into the strand matrix, effectively keeping the fines at the surface so they can effectively and efficiently function to prevent or eliminate strand telegraphing, and provide a smooth finished surface for the product.

It is also an object of this invention the product obtained with the aforementioned manufacturing method.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to adhesive article that include a first, stretch releasable adhesive and patterned adhesive elements on, within, or partially embedded in a surface of the adhesive. The adhesive elements can act as spacers between the adhesive surface and the mounting surface to prevent full contact and wet out of the first adhesive, whereby the article can be removed from the wall and placed at a new location without damage to the wall surface or the article. Once the final location is selected, the separation created by the engineered elements can be overcome by applying sufficient pressure; the first adhesive can contact and adhere more permanently to the wall. Thus, a stretch releasable adhesive articles of the present disclosure can move freely relative to the desired mounting surface, while developing additional tack and holding power after sufficient pressure is applied.

A resin used for impregnating and/or coating paper may include carbon-based particles, at least one compound of the general formula (Ia) R1aSiX(4-a), R3cSiX(4-c)(II), and inorganic particles. X is methoxy, ethoxy, n-propoxy or i-propoxy. R1 is an organic radical selected from the group including methyl, ethyl, propyl, or vinyl, and has at least one functional group Q1, selected from the group including acrylic, acryloxy, methacrylic, methacyloxy, or epoxy. R3 is a non-hydrolyzable organic radical selected from the group including C1-C10 alky, C6-10 aryl, wherein C is 1, 2, or 3, and the inorganic particles have a size between 2 nm and 400 nm.
