Abstract:
A meditation pillow using craniosacral therapy is disclosed. The meditation pillow includes a columna vertebralis supporting part formed in a user's neck direction to support a part of a columna vertebralis located thereon, an occipital region supporting part formed at a rear of the columna vertebralis supporting part to support an occipital region of a head located thereon, and an occipital region acupressure part protrudingly formed along a superior nuchal line between an atlas and an occipital bone to stimulate nerve fibers of the occipital region.
Abstract:
A heater supporter for use in a cooking apparatus is provided. The heater supporter may include a clip portion that receives a heater, an extension portion that supports the clip portion, and a hook portion that couples the heater supporter to an installation plane of the heater. The extension portion may include an elastic portion that elastically supports the clip portion and heater therein, and maintains at least a predetermined distance between the heater and the installation plane. The heater supporter may be formed of a single panel to simplify fabrication and reduce cost.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a heating cooking apparatus, in which an operation of a heating unit is appropriately controlled according to presence/absence or kinds of a load applied to a plate. When no load is applied to the plate, the duty cycle of a heat source is reduced, thereby preventing unnecessary operation of the heat source. Accordingly, power consumption is reduced. On the other hand, when a load is applied to the plate, the duty cycle of the heat source is increased. Speedy cooking may be possible with this control method.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a carbon heater. The carbon heater comprises a carbon filament disposed in a tube for serving as a heating element. The carbon filament has support parts integrally formed at the carbon filament while being protruded from the carbon filament in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the carbon filament such that the support parts are supported inside the tube. Consequently, the carbon filament is more stably supported in the tube by the support parts, whereby the service life of the carbon heater is increased, and easy and convenient design and assembly of the carbon heater is accomplished.
Abstract:
A heating body is provided. The heating body includes a tube and a heating member disposed in the tube. When a radius from a center of the heating body to an outer circumference of the heating member is “r,” a radius of the tube is equal to or greater than 1.6r.
Abstract:
A heat detecting device and a cooking apparatus using the same, in which the operation of a heating unit is appropriately controlled according to the presence or absence and/or type of cooking container (e.g., pan or pot) on the cooking apparatus. When there is no cooking container on the cooking apparatus, the duty cycle of the heat source is reduced, thereby preventing unnecessary operation of the heat source. Accordingly, power consumption is reduced. On the other hand, when there is a cooking container on the cooking appliance, the duty cycle of the heat source is increased, thereby making faster more efficient cooking possible.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) current limiting device for limiting a current by use of PTC characteristics, which includes a PTC element having the PTC characteristics; a pair of electrode units arranged on both sides to face each other with the PTC element being interposed therebetween; and a molding part prepared around the PTC element and the electrode units to surround at least an interface region between the PTC element and the electrode units, the molding part being made of elastic insulating material. The molding part is made of an elastic insulating material or any insulating materials selected from vacuum, gas and oil. Thus, this device may effectively restrain an arc generated while limiting overcurrent or short circuit current, and also prevent flashover between electrodes.
