Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention comprise systems, computer program products, and methods for a financial and social management system that provides improved tracking and management related to how, where, when, and with whom a user enters into activities. The financial and social management system captures activity information and images from various sources of information, including but not limited to social networking accounts, e-receipts, calendars, contact lists, location determination devices, and the like, and associates the activity information and images with the activities. The financial and social management system captures past and future activities based on a future location or future time period, and assembles the activities into packages. The proposed packages are supplemented with the images and the activity information related to past and future activities captured from the various sources of information, and the activities, activity information, and images are displayed in a package interface.
Abstract:
Embodiments related to tracking consumer consumption for purchased items are provided. In some embodiments, a system is provided that receives e-receipt data, including stack keeping unit (SKU) level data, from a customer and compares the e-receipt data with transaction data. The system identifies transactions associated with one or more customer goals based on the SKU level data and calculates a first quantity of consumption for each of the identified transactions.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to apparatus, methods, and computer program products for analyzing transaction item-identifying data, such as e-receipts, for the purpose of identifying which transactions or items in a transaction qualify as charitable contributions and in some embodiments verifying or confirming that the transaction or items in the transaction are charitable contributions for the purpose of tax deductions. Additionally, the invention may determine the items and/or portion of the overall or item purchase amount that qualifies as a charitable contribution for tax deductions purposes. In addition, the invention provides for automatically communicating verified charitable contribution information to a third party or database that will insure that the charitable contribution receives consideration when the customer's income tax filings are prepared.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for utilizing e-receipt data and other electronic communication data between a merchant and customer regarding a transaction to provide misappropriation protection based on address and/or merchant store information associated with the e-receipt or other e-communication. In one embodiment, a system is configured to: identify and retrieve electronic communications between a merchant and a customer associated with a transaction; determine address information or merchant store information from the electronic communication; and determine whether or not the address information or merchant store information triggers a notification or an alert to the customer based at least partially on one or more rules relating to a misappropriation of customer account information.
Abstract:
Embodiments for transferring online account sessions are included in systems that enable a user to transfer control of an account session from a first mobile device to a second mobile device and determine whether or not the second mobile device has control of the account session based on transmission data received from the first mobile device or second mobile device. The systems receive transaction data, user input, or device tracking data from the first device or second device, and use the data to process online activities.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a system and associated method for restricting access to a customer's online banking account based on customer-defined online-banking access restrictions. The system typically includes a processor, a memory, and an online banking module stored in the memory. The module is typically configured for initially associating a mobile device with the customer's online banking account. In addition, the module is typically configured for subsequently receiving a restricted transaction definition from the mobile device, the restricted transaction definition defining a first restricted transaction associated with the customer's online banking account; searching a database of records to determine if the mobile device is associated with the customer's online banking account; and creating a restricted transaction record based on determining that the first mobile device is associated with the customer's online banking account, the restricted transaction record including the first restricted transaction definition.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a system and associated method for restricting access to a customer's online banking account. The system typically includes a processor, a memory, and an online banking module stored in the memory. The module is typically configured for determining that a computing device has initiated a first online banking transaction associated with the customer's online banking account. If the first online banking transaction is within a first restricted transaction definition and if the computing device is not enrolled with the customer's online banking account, geographic location information associated with the computing device and geographic location information associated with a first mobile device enrolled with the customer's account are received. The module determines whether the location of the computing device is proximate to a predefined location and/or whether the location of the computing device is proximate to the location of the first mobile device.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to apparatus, methods, and computer program products for determining and notifying a user, herein a financial institution customer, as to which account aggregators currently have been granted permission to access accounts held by the customer at the financial institution. In addition to notifying the customer of the current status of account aggregator access, the present invention provides the customer, through an online or mobile banking application or the like, a comprehensive tool for managing the access granted to all of the account aggregators that are determined to currently have permission to access the customer's accounts.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for recommending a payment vehicle for a transaction, retroactively. In this way, the invention provides retroactive payment vehicle recommendation after the transaction has occurred based on criteria from customer inputs, customer in-flows, and customer out-flows. In this way, the customer may complete a transaction with a merchant using a temporary line of credit. Subsequently the system may apply the transaction to the determined recommended payment vehicle. Then the temporary line of credit may be terminated.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention relate to systems and methods that enable a user to pre-order products from an internal or external organization. The organization procures the products and/or completes the pre-order, such as completes a payment for the pre-order or finishes the pre-order, based on the location of the user, as determined through the user's mobile device. The order is only completed when the customer location is determined to be within a desired location of the collection point for the pre-order. Preparation of the products pre-ordered by the user commences upon the user location satisfying a predetermined criteria, such as the user being located an approximate distance from a particular location, the user having an approximate arrival time from a particular location, the user located within an electronic geographic fenced area around a particular location, or the user identified as moving with respect to a particular location.
