Abstract:
This invention comprises a sanitary beverage can lid wherein the center platform of the lid including the pull tab is raised from below the rim of the can as in conventional cans to a position close to or slightly above the rim of the can. The center platform diameter is reduced in diameter to provide additional space from the exterior of the can body to the edge of the platform. The pull tab is positioned in the middle of the center platform so that the end of the pull tab is at the edge of the center platform to facilitate opening of the can. The raised center platform and the lid design prevent an individual's lip from coming in contact with the groove along the edge of the lid where dirt may accumulate. Another feature is the provision of a raised rim on the platform with an interior drain-back slope so that any excess beverage flows back into the can.
Abstract:
An adjustable air freshener involves a container for a scented gel which includes a heater which is integrally molded within the base of the container with a connecting plug extending outwardly for coupling to an electrical outlet. The front portion of the container includes a rotary cover with a circular configuration having a solid dividing wall on half of the circle extending downwardly to block the flow of hot air from affecting the gel which is positioned between the base and cover within the container. The other half of the cover includes a plurality of spaced apertures which are positioned opposite the heated gel to provide a predetermined scent to the room. The cover and gel may be rotated with respect to the base in predetermined increments to provide the desired scent.
Abstract:
A database system is disclosed for accessing databases, updating hands information associated with users. The database system can include a server. The server can retrieve and store data in the database. The server can retrieve a first request from a first computer over a network, the first request including a first set of authentication data. The server can identify the user and retrieve a first set of hands information data associated with the user from the database. The server can generate a first set of game data and transmit the game data to the first computer. It can then receive a first set of hands data from the first computer. It can compute a first game result based on the first set of hands data, the first set of game data and a first set of game rules.
Abstract:
A differential amplifier is provided in the present invention. The differential amplifier includes an amplifying module having a resistive ratio, receiving an input voltage, and amplifying the input voltage as an output voltage in accordance with the resistive ratio; and a feedback module coupled with the amplifying module and generating a feedback signal in accordance with the input voltage and the output voltage for regulating the output voltage.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a system for actively managing energy banks during an energy transfer process comprises a plurality of energy banks configured for use as a group of energy banks and characterized by a desired state-of-charge (SOC), and a power management system coupled across each of the energy banks. The power management system is configured to selectively drive at least one of the energy banks to a modified SOC different from the desired SOC without interrupting the energy transfer process. In one embodiment, the power management system is further configured to return the energy bank or banks driven to the modified SOC to the desired SOC of the group of energy banks.
Abstract:
An aluminum container for dispensing beverage, includes a can having a cylindrical side wall, and transverse top and bottom walls. A pull tab mechanism is provided on the top wall to effect opening of the container. The transverse top wall has an upstanding peripheral rim, with one or two interrupted wall portions, one of said portions forming a spout for pouring the contents, or drinking from the container directly. The other of the interrupted wall portions provides a clearance space for facilitating the insertion of the user's finger beneath the pull tab in readiness for opening the container. The bottom wall of the container is provided with a removable appliqué, which may contain printed text/pictorial information, or information in the nature of a store or manufacturer's product coupon.
Abstract:
A driving circuit for driving a load is provided. The driving circuit includes a control module providing a control signal to adjust a load current flowing through the load; and a voltage clamping module providing a power voltage to the control module.
Abstract:
An LED driving circuit is provided in the present invention. The driving circuit includes a load; a control module providing a control signal for regulating a current flowing through the load; a first NMOS; and a first resistor coupled with the control module in parallel so as to generate a clamp voltage providing to the control module.
Abstract:
A beverage container includes a can body having a side wall, a neck portion of reduced diameter, a closure lid and an anchor structure on the closure lid. The anchor structure is offset with respect to the center of the lid. A pull tab has a mounting hole which fits onto the anchor structure. One end of the pull tab has a grip handle, and the other end has a puncturing nose. The pull tab is turnable on the anchor structure, and thus also turnable with respect to the closure lid. The pull tab is of a length whereby it normally just fits between the opposite locations of a peripheral groove on the closure lid. The pull tab can be manually turned from a first position overlying the closure lid, to a second position wherein it overhangs one part of the peripheral groove. The construction thus provides an extended handle length to permit the user to more easily grasp and raise the pull tab, and open the container, for use. The pull tab remains captive with the open container, for anti-litter and recycling purposes.
Abstract:
A cosmetic stick applicator for treating the lips of a person. The applicator has an elongate, tubular body with an inner chamber for storing a chemical formulation or substance such as an exfoliant, to be applied to the lips. One end of the body has an external, oblique, lip-engageable abrasive applicator surface containing a product-dispensing orifice through which the substance can be ejected. Such ejection is accomplished by means of a finger-engageable wheel that is turned to forcibly discharge the substance through the orifices and onto the applicator surface. Thereafter this surface which now contains the discharged substance, is rubbed against the lips and thus effects a scrubbing thereof, which brings about gentle and controlled exfoliation of accumulated dead skin cells. Following this, excess dead cell material can be wiped off with a tissue or pad.
