摘要： A top for a small vehicle, such as a golf car, has a roof member and a set of struts that are pivotally attached to the roof member. The struts can be folded for shipping and storage. The top also has features that accommodate stacking of tops for shipping and storage. In addition, a handle is located inboard of an outer periphery of the roof member so that a hand grasping the handle is not exposed outside of the periphery. Furthermore, in one arrangement, the handle is mounted at a location that keeps an occupant's arm within the periphery if the handle is properly grasped. An improved drainage system also is provided to minimize splashing toward occupants.

摘要： An apparatus is for inhibiting fuels from flowing out of fuel tanks, and includes a housing having an evaporator opening and a fuel opening, a double-floating valve and a cover having a cylinder-shaped liquid receptacle. Alternatively, the apparatus can include a housing having an evaporator opening, a fuel opening and a substantially cylinder-shaped dam, a double-floating valve, and a cover free from the cylinder-shaped liquid receptacle. The apparatus can securely inhibit liquid fuels from flowing into a canister even when liquid fuels spout through the valve hole and the evaporator opening, because liquid fuels collide with the liquid receptacle or the dam to return back into fuel tanks through the evaporator opening.

摘要： The liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes a liquid crystal cell having a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules having a positive dielectric anisotropy, and a pair of polarizers and at least one phase difference compensator that are provided outside the liquid crystal cell. The liquid crystal display device of the present invention displays an image in a normally black mode. A pair of electrodes provided so as to interpose the liquid crystal layer therebetween produce a transverse electric field component parallel to the plane of the liquid crystal layer in the presence of an applied voltage, and the orientation axis direction, which is defined by the azimuth angle of the orientation direction of the liquid crystal molecules near the center of the liquid crystal layer in the thickness direction thereof, is changed by the transverse electric field component.

摘要： An IC device to be inspected is received in a chamber, and an IC tester Judges performance of the IC device. An electrical connection device is arranged outside the chamber and has a conductive passage electrically connecting between the IC tester and the IC device. An IC socket is retained on the electrical connection device, for having the IC device inserted therein. A magnetometric sensor is arranged close to the conductive passage of the electrical connection device, for detecting a magnetic field generated when electric current is supplied to the IC device. A temperature control device controls a temperature of the IC device. A control unit controls the temperature control device based on a signal delivered from the magnetometric sensor, to maintain the temperature of the IC device within a predetermined temperature range.

摘要： A strut-type suspension for the steering ski of a snowmobile. The suspension includes a fixed tube attached to the chassis, and a movable tube axially movable in the fixed tube. A bias spring is mounted in compression between the movable tube and a spring seat attached to structure fixed to the chassis, which spring seat overhangs the movable tube. A shaft supporting a piston fitted in a cylinder inside the movable tube is linked to the spring seat by alignment means which permit shear-like relative movement between the shaft and the fixed tube.

摘要： A mount for pivotally joining the steering ski of a snowmobile to an extendible-retractible movable tube of a strut-type suspension. The joinder is made by a pivot pin which extends laterally to, and is offset from, the movable tube. Preferably the tube is disposed at an angle to the vertical, and the pivot pin is behind the movable tube. The ski and pivot pin can be removably mounted to the end of the movable tube by a gusset which itself can be attached to and removed from, the movable tube.
