    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a method for wireless communication. The method generally includes receiving a message for dual-active-protocol stack (DAPs) handover (HO) from a source network entity to a target network entity, wherein carrier-aggregation (CA) is configured with the source network entity prior to reception of the message for HO, deactivating the CA in response to reception of the message for handover (HO) to activate a single carrier mode with the source network entity, and performing the HO from the source network entity to the target network entity during a HO period, wherein the single carrier mode is maintained with the source network entity during at least a portion of the HO period, and wherein connection with the target network entity is maintained during the at least the portion of the HO period.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication between at a base station and a user equipment is provided that accommodates multiple data streams of varying traffic characteristics. The base station may configure semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasions having a particular periodicity. Each SPS occasion having multiple slots associated with multiple physical downlink shared channels (PDSCH). A message is transmitted to a user equipment (UE) indicating the SPS occasions. Subsequently, the base station transmits data to the UE over the multiple PDSCH during the indicated SPS occasions. The base station can dynamically adjust the number of PDSCH for an SPS occasion, wherein different number of PDSCH are used in two sequential SPS occasions. Also, the PDSCH in a same SPS occasion may use at least one of: different encoding schemes or different modulation schemes.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information indicating a first semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration and a second SPS configuration, wherein one or more first SPS occasions defined by the first SPS configuration and one or more second SPS occasions defined by the second SPS configuration are within a time interval associated with a traffic burst of a communication. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) activating at least one SPS configuration, of the first SPS configuration and the second SPS configuration. The UE may perform the communication using the at least one activated SPS configuration. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a UE may be configured to receive a dataset in an encoded format on a network communication interface. The UE may be further configured to transmit a unicast transmission including a subset of the dataset on a direct communication interface to another UE when a non-unicast transmission is received indicating that the other UE failed to successfully receive the subset of the dataset. The other UE may be configured to transmit, on the direct communication interface, a non-unicast transmission indicating a failure to successfully receive a subset of a dataset on a network communication interface. The other UE may be further configured to receive a unicast transmission including the subset of the dataset on the direct communication interface. A base station may configure the UEs to communicate data on the direct communication interface after receiving the data on a network communication interface.
