摘要： Fluorochemical compositions for treating textile fibers and fabrics to impart oil and water repellency without thermal treatment are provided. The compositions comprise an aqueous, substantially organic solvent free, solution or dispersion of (a) a fluorochemical acrylate copolymer comprised of a fluorinated acrylate monomer, polyalkylene glycol acrylate or methacrylate, and polyalkylene glycol diacrylate or dimethacrylate; and (b) a polyalkoxylated polyurethane having pendant perfluoroalkyl groups comprised of an aliphatic or aromatic tri- or higher order isocyanate, a fluorinated alcohol, amine, or mercaptan, and a poly(oxyalkylene) diol or dithiol.

摘要： In a copier or printer producing a sequential stream of printed copy sheets with a limited space and time therebetween, and with compiling and finishing of those output sheets into plural collated finished sets on-line while subsequent sheets are being printed, an exit sheet feeder normally feeding copy sheets downstream to said compiler tray is selectably intermittently reversed to feed upstream the first copy sheet for the next set to be finished into an upstream diverter chute branching off from the regular sheet output path, assisted by a diverter gate there. The diverter chute has a reversible sheet feeder for feeding the first sheet into the diverter chute and then reversing to feed the first sheet out of the diverter chute in coordination with the passage past the diverter chute of the next subsequent copy sheet, so that both these copy sheets are fed downstream to the exit sheet feeder and into the compiler tray together, overlapped and with a substantial increase in the time between the first copy sheet and the preceding copy sheets being operated on in the compiler tray. A preset difference in relative sheet edge overlapping is provided to insure better compiler registration. With an additional entrance gate the same diverter chute may alternatively be used as an inverter.

摘要： A water saver unit for use with a flush toilet having a tank, a flush handle, a tank drain opening and a flapper valve support, with a flapper valve having a flapper element for mounting on the flapper valve support, and a strap for connecting the flapper element to the flapper handle, with the flapper element having a solid disk with upper and lower surfaces, a center section and a rim, with radially extending ribs on the upper surface between the center section and rim, and with the bottom surface tapering downward from the rim toward the center section. A float is positioned on the strap to provide bouyancy to the flapper valve as long as the float is below the water level in the toilet tank. The flapper element solid disk is of substantially uniform thickness between the center section and rim, and the bottom surface taper is in the order of 5 to 20 degrees, preferably about 10 degrees. The center section includes a cylindrical portion with the ribs abutting the cylindrical portion, and with a generally flat section at the center of the lower surface, and with the flapper element molded in a single piece.

摘要： An adjustable manual abrasive sharpener having a pair of sharpening slots formed in a frame with opposing abrasive arms being pivotally mounted in each of the sharpening slots. A rod is mounted on the frame for rotatable motion and for linear motion long its axis of rotation from a position at which the rod is locked against rotation to a depressed position whereby the rod may be rotated. The bottom end portion of the rod includes a pinion gear which engages a pair of gear racks which are mounted for movement laterally relative to the axis of rotation of the rod. The pair of gear racks respectively engage slots formed on the bottom of the abrasive arms in each sharpening slot. Rotation of the rod causes movement of the gear racks to adjust each pair of abrasive arms with respect to each other to vary the sharpening angle of the abrasive elements.
