摘要： A multicast broadcast service (MBS) receiving device establishes an MBS connection with an MBS transmitting device through a connection establishment message. When it is determined to receive MBS right after establishing the MBS connection, the MBS receiving device starts to receive the MBS right after establishing the MBS connection. When it is determined to not receive MBS right after establishing the MBS connection, the MBS receiving device transmits an MBS report message to the MBS transmitting device and then starts to receive the MBS.

The MBS transmitting apparatus allocates the time intervals, allocated to the MBS region, to one or more MBS zones and generates MBS zone allocation information of the one or more MBS zones. The MBS transmitting apparatus transmits the region allocation information and the MBS zone allocation information and transmits the MBS data through the time intervals allocated to the MBS region.

The base station determines a first time point for multicast broadcast service (MBS)-related information and transmits the MBS-related information through a first carrier at the first time point. Also, the base station determines a second time point for transmitting a paging message to a mobile station, determines a second carrier for transmitting the paging message to the mobile station, and transmits the paging message through the second carrier at the second time point. Here, the second time point is different from the first time point.

The data transmission apparatus activates the first carrier without a procedure for exchanging a second control message for activating a carrier after the transmission of the first control message is achieved. The data transmission apparatus transmits MBS data to the data receiving apparatus through the first carrier.
