    摘要： A recording apparatus includes: a conveyor which has one or more holes penetrating from a first surface to a second surface thereof, and which conveys, in a conveyance direction, a recording medium supported on the first surface; and a recording unit which is at such a position as to face the first surface, and records an image on a recording medium while the recording medium is conveyed by the conveyor. The recording apparatus further includes an exhauster capable of causing air exhaust through the one or more holes so that airstream in the one or more holes is directed from the second surface to the first surface; and a controller which controls the exhauster so as to cause air exhaust through at least one medium-facing hole out of the one or more holes, the medium facing hole being a hole facing a recording medium.

    摘要： A tape printer includes a holder support member at one side end in a roll sheet holder storage part in a direction substantially perpendicular to a feeding direction. In the holder support member, a mounting piece which is substantially rectangular in section and formed protruding outward on a positioning holding member of a roll sheet holder is fitted. The tape printer further includes a flat portion formed substantially horizontally between a rear edge of an insertion opening through which a roll sheet is inserted into the tape printer. On the flat portion, a front portion of a guide member is placed. At a rear edge of the flat portion in the feeding direction, at plural positions corresponding to various kinds of the roll sheets having different widths, there are formed four second positioning grooves in which part of the guide member is fitted.

    摘要： A gaming machine that is provided with an outlet for paying out gaming media has a receiver for paying-out the gaming media, the receiver being disposed forward of the outlet. The receiver is illuminated so was to permit the player to view the gaming media that has been collected in the receiver, whereby the amount thereof readily can be confirmed. Illumination of the receiver is achieved from within the gaming machine, the illumination being emitted from the outlet for paying the gaming media. Thus, as the gaming media is paid out, a glistening effect that is entertaining and visually pleasing is created. Illumination of the receiver, which may be in the form of a receiver tray, is effected, in one form of the invention, by an internal source of illumination that also illuminates the front panel of the gaming machine. Light is propagated through a transmission element to the receiver. In a preferred form, a further light source is disposed behind the chute via which the gaming media is provided to the outlet. Depending upon the location of the further light source with respect to the chute, multiple reflections are employed within the chute to deliver the light to the outlet. The coloration of the light that is delivered to the outlet may be controlled by the further light source itself or a colored transmission element. This permits interesting decorative coloration schemes to be effected, thereby raising the player's interest in playing the game.

    摘要： A variable valve control apparatus which is capable of reducing the size of the entire apparatus. A rotary member is assembled with a timing pulley by a bolt so that it rotates together with the timing pulley. A cylinder head supports the rotary member rotatably but axially immovably. The rotary member supports an intake camshaft rotatably and axially movably. Even if the intake camshaft is axially moved and changed in rotational phase relative to the timing pulley as arc-shaped gears move axially, the rotational phase between an exhaust camshaft and the timing pulley does not change.
