摘要: In one example, a printing device is described. The printing device may include a transport roller to move a print medium through the printing device, a sensor to detect a trailing edge of the print medium, a processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions. In one example, the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to move the print medium toward an output of the printing device via the transport roller after a printing to the print medium, detect the trailing edge of the print medium via the sensor during a movement of the print medium via the transport roller, and hold the print medium in a position in contact with the transport roller, in response to a detection of the trailing edge of the print medium via the sensor.

摘要: An inkjet printing apparatus includes a conveyer conveying a printing medium; an image former discharging ink on the printing medium; a mover relatively moving the image former and the conveyer; a first detector; a second detector; and a controller controlling image formation. The mover performs a first move operation to expand a distance between the image former and the printing medium and a second move operation to expose the conveying surface. Upon detection of an abnormal conveyance state of the printing medium by the first detector, the conveyer stops conveyance and the mover performs the first move operation. After stopping the conveyance and the first move operation, the controller checks for the contact of the printing medium and the image former during the second move operation based on the detection results at the second detector, and only if no contact is determined, the mover performs the second move operation.

摘要: Upon occurrence of a paper jam on a main conveying route, a controller performs control of stopping paper conveyance at a section of the main conveying route upstream of a position of the paper jam in a conveying direction and discharging sheets at a section of the main conveying route downstream of the position of the paper jam in the conveying direction, and performs control of stopping paper conveyance at a circulation conveying route. Upon occurrence of a paper jam on the circulation conveying route, a controller performs control of stopping paper conveyance at a section of the circulation conveying route upstream of a position of the paper jam, and performs control of discharging sheets at a section of the circulation conveying route downstream of the position of the paper jam and at the main conveying route.

摘要: The paper discharge mechanism comprises: a first side passage plate and a second side passage plate between which an S-shaped paper conveying passage is formed, wherein the second side passage plate comprises a paper jam detection plate and a paper pullout detection plate both pivotally connected on a frame; a first elastic element biasing the paper jam detection plate and a second elastic element biasing the paper pullout detection plate; and a first sensor and a second sensor. A surface of the paper jam detection plate facing paper is concave and is held against the paper and rotates in the direction away from the first side passage plate during paper jam; a surface of the paper pullout detection plate facing the paper is convex and is held against the paper and rotates in the direction away from the first side passage plate during paper pullout.
