摘要: An inkjet printing apparatus includes a conveyer conveying a printing medium; an image former discharging ink on the printing medium; a mover relatively moving the image former and the conveyer; a first detector; a second detector; and a controller controlling image formation. The mover performs a first move operation to expand a distance between the image former and the printing medium and a second move operation to expose the conveying surface. Upon detection of an abnormal conveyance state of the printing medium by the first detector, the conveyer stops conveyance and the mover performs the first move operation. After stopping the conveyance and the first move operation, the controller checks for the contact of the printing medium and the image former during the second move operation based on the detection results at the second detector, and only if no contact is determined, the mover performs the second move operation.

摘要: Upon occurrence of a paper jam on a main conveying route, a controller performs control of stopping paper conveyance at a section of the main conveying route upstream of a position of the paper jam in a conveying direction and discharging sheets at a section of the main conveying route downstream of the position of the paper jam in the conveying direction, and performs control of stopping paper conveyance at a circulation conveying route. Upon occurrence of a paper jam on the circulation conveying route, a controller performs control of stopping paper conveyance at a section of the circulation conveying route upstream of a position of the paper jam, and performs control of discharging sheets at a section of the circulation conveying route downstream of the position of the paper jam and at the main conveying route.

摘要: A controller, upon remaining sheets existing in both a print conveyer and a lower conveyer and a sheet size of the sheets being equal to or larger than a specified size upon occurrence of a sheet jam: control an elevator to maintain the print conveyer at a print position, determine to position the print conveyer at a lower limit position in response to removal of the remaining sheet from the lower conveyer, and then drive the elevator to move the print conveyer to the lower limit position; or drive the elevator to move the print conveyer to the lower limit position, determine to position the print conveyer at the print position in response to removal of the remaining sheet from the lower conveyer, and then drive the elevator to move the print conveyer to the print position.

摘要: A lead-in path through which a sheet is led in; a first branch path and a second branch path which branch from the lead-in path; a first switchback path which extends from the first branch path; a second switchback path which extends from the second branch path; a first joining path and a second joining path through which the switched-back sheet is transported; and a lead-out path which extends from a joining point at which the first joining path and the second joining path join with each other, are provided. The lead-out path passes through between the first switchback path and the second switchback path. A first connection point at which the first switchback path and the first joining path are connected to each other is disposed above a second connection point at which the second switchback path and the second joining path are connected to each other.
