摘要： A reader for a secure tag. The reader comprises a first excitation source (such as one or more LEDs) that stimulates at least one transition in the secure tag. The reader also comprises a second excitation source that stimulates more transitions than were stimulated by the first excitation source. The reader has a detector for detecting luminescence from the secure tag in response to excitation from the first excitation source and in response to excitation from the second excitation source to ensure that luminescence is detected at a pre-determined wavelength in response to the second excitation source but not the first excitation source.

The readhead also includes a light source for directing excitation light of a predetermined wavelength to the sample carrier, and a light filter positioned between the sample carrier and the light detector and adapted to prevent passage therethrough of the excitation light. The readhead allows both fluorescence spectroscopy and reflectance spectroscopy to be conducted on the sample carrier.

The marker comprising at least one security tag comprising a first dopant incorporated into a host and a second dopant incorporated into a host. 摘要： A combination mug and tea bag holder wherein the tea bag holder is an integral part of the mug, to thereby provide a convenient location to store a used tea bag, either for subsequent reuse on a second or subsequent refill or for easy discarding after the user is finished drinking the tea. A transverse receptacle is formed into the upper portion of a mug, which slot opens up into the mug. A tea bag which has been dipped into hot water may be slid by the string attached to the tea bag from the hot water into the transverse receptacle where it can rest until it needs to be subsequently reused or eventually discarded.

摘要： The present invention relates to a container for liquid which is able to retain the liquid therein for drinking purposes at a temperature close to its original temperature for a period of time, will assure that the liquid will not spill out if the container is tipped, and facilitates easy drinking of the liquid from the container. The container further includes an interiorly recessed shelf possessing at least one gap within the shelf wall and which accommodates a sealing member or top which contains a protruding tongue which can be inserted through the gap and rotated below the shelf to fasten the sealing member in place. Then the top can function as a sealing member to retain the liquid in place and assure that the liquid will not spill if the container is accidentally tipped. The top will further serve to entirely seal the container to thereby retain the liquid therein at close to its original temperature for a period of time.
