In a method of driving an organic light emitting display device including a second capacitor having a first terminal coupled to a gate electrode of a driving transistor and a first capacitor coupled between the gate electrode of the driving transistor and a first power source, the driving method includes supplying a threshold voltage of an organic light emitting diode to a second terminal of the second capacitor during a period when a first current is sunk via the driving transistor, and supplying a data signal to the second terminal of the second capacitor after a voltage corresponding to a difference between a voltage applied to the gate electrode of the driving transistor and the threshold voltage of the organic light emitting diode is charged in the second capacitor.

    摘要: An organic light emitting display, suitable for a high quality and high resolution display device, rapidly charges a data voltage using a voltage programming technique, after compensating for a deviations in the threshold voltage and mobility of a driving transistor using a current programming technique. The organic light emitting display includes: a data line supplying a data signal; a scan line supplying a scan signal; a first switching element, electrically coupling its control electrode to the scan line, transferring the data signal supplied from the data line; a driving transistor, electrically coupling its control electrode to the first switching element, controlling a driving current of a first voltage line; a first capacitive element electrically coupled between the first switching element and the control electrode of the driving transistor; an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED), electrically coupled between the driving transistor and a second power voltage line, displaying an image by a current supplied from the driving transistor; and a fourth switching element compensating for deviations of characteristics of the driving transistor by supplying a current of the first current line to the driving transistor.

    摘要: An organic light emitting display device includes a scan driver, a data driver, and pixels. The scan driver is for sequentially supplying, during each horizontal period of a width 1H, a scan signal with a width of at least 2H to scan lines. The scan driver is further for sequentially supplying an emission control signal to emission control lines that are substantially parallel to the scan lines. The data driver supplies data signals to data lines. Each pixel includes an organic light emitting diode (OLED), a pixel circuit having a first transistor for controlling the amount of current supplied to the OLED, and a compensator for controlling the voltage of a gate electrode of the first transistor for compensating a degradation of the OLED. The compensator includes two transistors and a capacitor. One transistor is coupled to a scan line, and the other is coupled to an emission control line.
