    摘要： An apparatus for mixing and degassing components of synthetic resins includes an evacuatable, cylindrical, downwardly tapering container, a worm conveyor centrally, rotatably supported in the container and a drive mechanism therefor, a cylindrical guide tube closely surrounding the worm conveyor, agitating arms secured to the lower end of the worm conveyor and extending outwardly and upwardly adjacent the walls of the container, and collecting arms secured to the lower end of the guide tube and extending outwardly and upwardly adjacent the agitating arms, each collecting arm having a collecting opening therein which faces opposite the direction of rotation of the agitating arms and is in communication with the interior of the guide tube. Each collecting arm preferably has a plurality of upright baffle members mounted thereon.

    摘要： A mixing and agitating device specifically designed to mix a dry solid particle material such as cement with a liquid such as water in a high energy manner so as to provide a predetermined degree of hydration above that normally required in the formation of concrete or like cementitious material. A casing defining a container has on the interior thereof a plurality of agitating assemblies rotatably connected within the container and specifically structured and configured to provide a direction of material flow which is concurrently rotational about the axis of rotation of the agitating assemblies as well as along the substantial length of the container between the various spaced apart agitating assemblies so as to define a shear flow of the material resulting in a substantially constant and consistent viscosity and a predetermined degree of hydration, of the initially dry solid particles.

    摘要： In a mixing device adapted to mix materials flowing therethrough from an inlet end to an outlet end in which there are provided agitating elements as on a rotating shaft, there is provided an internal recycling means to impel at least a portion of the material flowing from the inlet end toward the outlet end countercurrently to the main flow, i.e. toward the inlet end to effect an in situ recycle. There is disclosed a pelleting apparatus having a horizontally-disposed substantially cyclindrical shell, a rotating, pin-equipped shaft, inlet and outlet means for feeding material to be pelleted and pelleting liquid into and through the device, the shaft having mounted thereon, at least over a length thereof, at least one reverse-flight or blade adapted to cause motion toward the inlet end of the device of at least a portion of the mass being pelleted.
