Abstract:
The present invention is a universal touch free dispenser for dispensing selective amounts of product from varying sized hand pump product containers. There is a touch free sensor on the front of the dispenser and in electrical communication with the drive assembly of the dispenser. An extendable ram pad extends from the drive assembly that is adjustable according to the amount of product a user wishes to be dispensed. With the product container placed within the dispenser, the unit is adjusted such that the pump on the container is in contact with the dispenser ram. When an object is placed within the viewing range of the touch free sensor, a signal is sent to the drive assembly and the dispenser ram is extended thereby depressing the pump head and dispensing the product onto the object.
Abstract:
A sample dispenser is provided allowing a consumer to sample a product. The dispenser includes a dosing unit having a mechanical pump and a nozzle for dispensing sampling amounts of the flowable substance. The dispenser also includes a cradle assembly featuring a cap and a dock, the dock having a receiving area and therein a floor from which projects an upwardly oriented hollow connector with a plastic wall piercing mouth. The cap is fittable over a product container. Tubing connects the pump and hollow connector allowing communication of the flowable substance between the product container and pump. Also provided is a method to allow a consumer to sample the product. The method includes providing the sample dispenser as described above, and activating the dosing unit to deliver a portion of the flowable substance to the consumer.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a packaging and dispensing device for a liquid or semi-liquid product, including: a movable spray head including at least one container supplying an outlet member; and at least one stationary base including a second container which can be connected to the above-mentioned first container via coupling element so that the product can be transferred from the second container in the base to the first container in the movable spray head in order for at least the product in the movable spray head to be refilled. The invention is characterised in that a miniature electric pump, known as a transfer pump, powered by an electrical power supply element and controlled by a control element, is disposed between the first and second containers to allow the product to be conveyed through the coupling element.
Abstract:
The present invention is an automatic soap dispenser with notification function, which comprises an outer casing; a soap container; a plunger driven by a plunger driving means to move up and down between a default position and a dispensing position where the pump dispensing means is depressed to dispense liquid soap; a plunger position sensor which is configured to be triggered when the plunger is at the default position; and an integrated circuit with timing function which is programmed to operate in such a way that when the user sensing means is triggered, the integrated circuit activates the plunger driving means and initiates the timing function in order to activate the notification means after a predetermined period of time has elapsed, and when the plunger position sensor is triggered, the integrated circuit deactivates the plunger driving means.
Abstract:
A sprayer generally includes a tool housing have a wet housing portion that disconnects from a dry housing portion. A solenoid motor is contained in the dry housing portion. An arm member is connected to the dry housing portion. The solenoid motor is operable to move the arm member relative to the dry housing portion. A spray nozzle is connected to a chamber member in the wet housing portion. A piston member extends from the wet housing portion and terminates with a tip portion operable to engage the arm member. A catch member is movably connected to the dry housing portion having an extended condition and a retracted condition. The catch member in the retracted condition is operable to release the wet housing portion from the dry housing portion and disconnect the piston member from the solenoid motor. The catch member in the extended condition is operable to lock the wet housing portion to the dry housing portion and keep the piston member engaged with the arm member.
Abstract:
A pressurized fluid dispenser includes a base unit and a reservoir. The base unit includes a pump and a battery compartment including electrical contacts electrically connected with the pump. The reservoir is supported by and selectively removable from the base unit. The reservoir includes an internal compartment that is in fluid communication with the pump when the reservoir is connected to the base unit. A female panel mount for an electrically operated unit is also disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention is a dispenser adapted to be coupled to a fluid container. The dispenser comprises a dispensing head, an energy source, and a fluid pathway. The dispensing head includes a fluid pump, a motor adapted to power the pump, a trigger adapted to control the motor, and a nozzle orifice in fluid communication with a discharge end of the pump. The fluid pathway has one portion in fluid communication with an intake end of the pump and another portion inside the container.
Abstract:
A child-proof spray system and a dispensing closure for a spray system. The closure has a ball valve that can seal when the closure is in an open position allowing spraying to occur, but cannot seal when the closure is in a closed position inhibiting spraying.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a portable device for spraying a liquid at low pressure, said device comprising a spray arm (220), and characterized in that the spray arm comprises at least one flat fan spray nozzle (230). Preferably, the liquid is a cleaning composition for treatment of carpets and other large fabric coverings, more preferably, a composition comprising surfactants. Also preferably, the portable device is electrically driven, and/or the spray arm is extendible and/or detachable from the device's main unit.
Abstract:
A pressurized fluid spraying apparatus including a sprayer and separate manual two stage pump. The sprayer preferably includes a three way valve capable of performing the function of a pump coupling for connecting to the pump to pressurize the pressure chamber, a pressure release valve, and a safety valve. In some embodiments, the pressure chamber is preferably capable of holding air pressure of at least 300 psi, in other embodiments, 1,000 psi, and in still other embodiments 2,000 psi. A re-useable fluid container is accepted within the sprayer and may be easily switched to change fluids. The two-stage pump may be configured to allow pumping of air under high pressure into the pressure chamber in the sprayer. The pump is preferably manually operated, but could be powered in alternate embodiments.
