The first side has an inclined ramp that runs along a length of the first side and extends into the second side above and beyond a seam that is formed by the connection of the two sides. When the roller is rolled toward the end of the ramp it pinches the flexible tube near the top of the inclined ramp.

“Flairosol” dispensing devices are presented. They utilize a combination of Flair® technology, precompression valves and aerosol like pressurization of the dispensed liquid. An exemplary device has a main body comprising a pressure chamber, the latter being provided with a pressure piston and a pressure spring, a piston and a piston chamber which draws liquid from a container, and fills the pressure chamber with that liquid as a user operates a trigger in various compression and release strokes. The piston chamber has both an inlet valve and an outlet valve, which serve to prevent backflow. A dome valve can be provided near the outlet channel at the top of the dispensing head, such that once its pressure is exceeded by the liquid, it opens and allows for a spray. Alternatively, in an activated embodiment, the dome valve is locked unless opened by a user.

A gardening applicator for efficiently delivering liquid chemicals to selected vegetation is disclosed. The applicator includes a wind guard chamber through which a stream of emitted liquid chemicals may be directed in a predetermined path along a central axis of the wind guard chamber. The wind guard chamber is preferably tube shaped over a predetermined length and can incorporate a diffuser screen or mesh which extends transversely across the predetermined path at the exit end of the wind guard chamber such that the liquid chemicals are finely dispersed upon passing through the diffuser screen. Actuation of a pressure activated pump head may provide a pressurized stream of liquid chemicals through the wind guard chamber and onto the diffuser screen where it is dispersed in a uniform circular pattern onto selected vegetation. The pressure activated pump head may conveniently be connectable to a liquid chemical reservoir such as a generally commercially available bottle with a standard sized threaded opening. The wind guard chamber may further include a drip ring which creates a drip reservoir disposed inside the wind guard chamber. A preferably flared, transparent wind shield may further be provided on the exit end of the wind guard chamber to protect against unwanted overspray onto unintended vegetation.

An exemplary reusable mist sprayer according to the present invention includes a container with an opening which has double walls that is vacuum sealed between the walls to provide insulation from the atmosphere. The exemplary sprayer also includes a plunger to pump atmospheric air into the container. The plunger respectively has a hole and hollow opening at the opposing ends, the hole provides a path for atmospheric air to enter the interior space of the plunger. Enclosing the opening of the container is a removable dispenser mechanism having a protruding end adapted to receive the hollow opening of the plunger, and a flange adapted to removably seal the opening of the container. A one-way valve is associated with the protruding end, which only opens to allow the air within the interior space of the plunger to enter the container as the plunger is being pressed relative to the protruding end. A plug is associated with the hole such that the plug engages with the hole as the plunger is being pressed relative to the protruding end, and the plug disengages with the hole as the plunger is being pulled relative to the protruding end. As such, air within the plunger is trapped to be injected into the container through the one-way valve when the plunger is pressed relative to the protruding end, but when the plunger is pulled relative to the protruding end the hole is open to relieve the vacuum within the interior space of the plunger to make it easier for a user to pull the plunger.

An oil can structure comprises an upper cover, a lock head, a jetting seat, a body, a lower seat, a piston, a sliding barrel and a rotary seat. Thereby, the oil can is operated easily and conveniently with less power and labor hour. The body receiving high pressure air and oil has an outer thread and an inner thread at the upper and lower inner side thereof. The outer thread has a jetting seat with a tube. The jetting seat has a jetting hole for jetting oil and air. Moreover, a lock head is installed at an outer cover of the jetting seat; the locking head has an inner thread for being screwedly engaged with the outer thread at the upper side of the body. A lower seat with an O ring, an outer thread, and an elastic hook is installed at the body. A post with vent and enclosed by a plastic cover is installed at the center of the lower seat. An inner barrel and strips are formed at the lower inner side and lateral side thereof. A sliding barrel with a positioning groove is installed within the inner barrel. The sliding barrel is installed with a big tooth at the inner lower side thereof and has a table having a rotary seat which can be engaged with the elastic hook of the lower seat. The center thereof has a stud for being engaged with the inner thread of the sliding barrel. By bidirectional rotation of the rotary seat at the lower seat, a piston installed at the inner barrel of the lower seat slides upwards and downwards so that air will be compressed into the body to have a high pressure. Therefore, as the jetting seat is pressed, oil and air will jet out together.
