    摘要： A container lid that is easily sealed to prevent air and other environmental agents from infiltrating the covered container and its contents and to accommodate storage of tools such as paintbrushes or paint rollers. The lid includes a base and lip and a strap surrounding the lip to secure the position of the lid and prevent air from seeping into the container. The base of the lid can be a solid, smooth surface, or it can be configured with special features such as suction vents and pour spouts. The base further includes a hatch and slots for receiving and holding tools suspended from the lid into the container. The hatch includes features including a hatch cover, gasket, and hinge cover that prevent the passage of air into the container that when paired with the easily sealed lid on the container prevents air, pests, and other particles from ruining or contaminating the container contents or tools.

    摘要： A pressure cooker which uses an elastic C-connector to fix a cover to a cooker body in airtight manner. Loosening and tightening of the C-connector are controlled by an operating handle. The operating handle has a relief valve at one end. The relief valve has a valve body and an adjustable valve rod so that when the C-connector is in tightening condition, the valve body is located on a valve seat on the cover. Pressure can be relieved through the relief valve or edge of the C-connector after it reaches a certain level. Pressure in the cooker will raise two safety pins to restrict movement of a rod so that removal of the valve body from the valve seat is impossible and thus removal of the cover is prevented for safe operation.

    摘要： A split ring locking rim assembly for releasably securing a head or cover to a container having a split ring with two ends positioned substantially adjacent to one another with a raised part of eyelet thereon space from one end of the ring to receive a portion of a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a lever shaped so as to align the ring during operation which is pivotally connected to one end of the ring with the other end of the ring pivotally connected to a connecting link which is pivotally connected to the lever. The lever includes a tongue with a raised portion thereon in the form of an eyelet and in operation the lever serves to bring the ring ends together sealing the cover or head to the container while the lever tongue enters the receptacle on the ring with the raised portion on the tongue passing therethrough wherein this raised portion acts as a retaining means for the lever in its closed position while also providing a means for securing a sealing wire.
