The method further includes the step of securing the lid and the container together by moving the flexible skirt from the second position to a first position to cause engagement of the flexible skirt with the container thereby forming a removable attachment and a substantial seal between the lid and the container.

摘要： Embodiments of the invention relate generally to a silicone bottle cap comprising a silicone cap whose lower end is open and expanded. Inside the cap there are more than two circular sealing ribs, which are screwed with the threads on the outside of the mouth of the bottle to be sealed. The whole cap is made of silicone, which is a material of flexibility and elasticity. The bottle cap is placed above the bottle mouth and pressed downward to seal the bottle. The circular sealing ribs inside the cap can be screwed with the thread on the outside of the bottle cap. Therefore, the bottle cap will not easily fall off, and the sealing effect is improved. To remove the bottle cap, the lower end of the cap is flapped and the cap is pulled upwards. The bottle cap is easy to use.

摘要： The present invention provides a cap for covering the open top of a drinking vessel. The cap includes a substantially rigid cover disk assembly dimensioned to span across and substantially cover the open top of the drinking vessel, and a flexible tubular membrane that extends from a bottom side of the cover disk assembly. The membrane is adapted to be rolled down a side wall of the drinking vessel to thereby removably secure the cap thereto. Identifying indicia can be printed on the top side of the cover disk assembly. The beverage within the drinking vessel can be consumed using a drinking straw. When properly deployed, the cap inhibits the introduction of unwanted matter into the drinking vessel.

摘要： A flexible, elastically gathered cover for food containers or the like, and a method of making such covers, uses a forming machine with a lower section having: a) a square shaped forming mandrel having a top, four substantially vertical sides, and a heating element extending longitudinally along each side, b) four elongated sealing bars having a tops with a guide and a front with an elongated strip of rubber attached, and c) a cover ejector with upwardly extending ejector pins. Each sealing bar is positioned opposite a respective side of the forming mandrel separated to create a forming groove around the mandrel. An upper section having a forming head assembly comprises: a) a forming die with sides that define a cavity sized to telescope over the forming mandrel, and b) a band ejector plate with plural downwardly extending ejector pins located along the perimeter. The forming die hangs below the band ejector plate. The mechanism is able to produce, in an automated sequence, flexible covers having a gathering elastic periphery that are suitable for covering open-topped containers.

摘要： A container lifter (2) is designed for use with a container (6) of the type having a body and a neck (4) extending from the body. The neck has an enlarged-diameter portion (24) and a reduced-diameter portion (28). The container lifter has a collar (8) which defines a collar opening (22) sized to permit the enlarged-diameter portion to pass therethrough. A keeper (14) is mounted to the collar for movement between a first position, spaced apart from the collar opening, and second position, partially covering the collar opening to define a reduced collar opening (26). The reduced collar opening is sized to permit the reduced-diameter portion to pass therethrough but prevent the enlarged-diameter portion from passing therethrough. The container lifter also includes a handle (32), extending from the collar, having a handgrip (34) which is generally centered on the reduced collar opening. This configuration helps to ensure that the collar and keeper properly engage the neck when the container lifter is used to pull the container generally horizontally or to lift the container generally vertically.
