摘要: A system for removing particulate matter from a multiphase stream comprising gas, liquid and the particulate matter. The system comprises a first vessel for receiving the multiphase stream and separating a majority of gas from the multiphase stream and collecting a slurry of liquid and particulate matter; a second vessel for receiving the slurry and causing separation of the particulate matter from the liquid and for generating a pressure head of liquid against the particulate matter; a third vessel for receiving the particulate matter from the second vessel and collecting the particulate matter until a pre-determined mass or volume of particulate matter is collected; and an outlet in the third vessel for conveying the particulate matter out of the third vessel.

摘要: A natural gas processing system is mounted on a mobile platform that is transported to a natural gas source, such as a well. The system supplies natural gas to operate multi-fuel engines for wellfield equipment such as pumps, compressors, and drills. A liquid drain discharges contaminants. A water separator and a particulate filter remove particulate matter and liquid contaminant matter from the natural gas. A thermoelectric generator powered by the natural gas supplies process electricity. A process control monitors and controls the natural gas processing system, including pressure, temperature, moisture, and flow sensors. A gas chromatograph will determine the chemical composition of the natural gas. An emergency shutdown system will halt the process in the event of high liquid levels, a gas leak, fire, or gas composition out of specification, to include: H2S, H2O, Percent Mole Composition (BTU), Pressure, Temperature, and Flow Rate.

The first and second flowpaths are parallel. The second flowpath includes a second pressure regulator that is configured to regulate the pressure of the gas by a second amount. The system also includes one or more flowpath valves downstream from the strainer and upstream from the first pressure regulator, the second pressure regulator, or both.

摘要: A pumping system is configured to be deployed in a well that has a vertical portion and a lateral portion. The pumping system includes a pump positioned in the vertical portion, a velocity tube assembly that extends from the vertical portion into the lateral portion and a cyclonic solids separator connected between the pump and the velocity tube assembly.
