    摘要: An electronic percussion synthesizer assembly incorporates a novel structure for supporting the drum heads. The novel supporting structure comprises a spider assembly (83) comprised of a plurality of legs (150) joined at one end for defining a hub (152) and secured at their free ends to the perimeter of the drum head (65) on the underside thereof. The spider assembly (83) minimizes mechanical damping of the striking surface and, where a plurality of drum heads (62, 63, 64, 65) are used, also minimiizes "cross talk" between the drum heads. A novel foot pedal control (120) for altering the sounds produced by the drum head is also disclosed.

    摘要: According to this invention, an electronic drum has a head portion. An annular frame is arranged to generally surround the head portion. A vibration plate is arranged to be in tight contact with a lower surface of the head portion, and vibrates in response to the performer's strike of the head portion. A pickup device is mounted on the vibration plate so as to detect the vibration of the vibration plate. A vibration preventing portion is inserted between the head portion and the annular frame so as to prevent the vibration from being transmitted to the annular frame. The head portion and the vibration preventing portion are integrally formed of a flexible material. A sound device is connected to the pickup device so as to produce a drum sound in response to the detected vibration.

    摘要: An electronic drum having multiple sound sources with rapidly detachable striking elements and transducers. The drum may contain one or more striking elements each producing a separate electrical output signal. A separate piezoelectric transducer is attached to each striking element. The drum includes a base structure to which various acoustically dampening compressible elements are attached. The striking elements are removably attached to the compressible elements and are acoustically isolated from one another so that vibrations caused by hitting one striking element are not picked up by the transducers attached to the other striking elements. Transducers are attached to the striking elements by first bonding resilient elements to the striking elements and then bonding the transducers to the resilient elements. The electronic drum permits a drummer to employ conventional acoustical "sticking" techniques and may be used to simulate various other percussion type instruments.

    摘要: An electronic drum has a drum body, a drumhead, a support/tension mechanism, a closed space forming member, a vibrating plate, and a piezoelectric element. The closed space forming member forms a closed air space together with the drumhead lower surface. The vibrating plate is fitted to the closed space forming member so as to divide the closed air space into plural closed air spaces. One of the divided plural closed air spaces existing between the lower surface of the drumhead and the vibrating plate serves as a transmission space. When the drumhead is struck, the vibration of the struck drumhead is transmitted to the vibrating plate via the transmission space. By this transmission via air space, same vibration at the vibrating plate is obtained irrespective of the struck portion of the drumhead if struck by same striking force. The piezoelectric element converts a pressure produced based on a mechanical vibration of the vibrating plate to an electrical signal.

    摘要: An electronic percussion instrument for suppressing sound source noise is described. The instrument includes a percussion pad, a metal plate disposed below the percussion pad, at least one damping element disposed in a ring-like manner below the metal plate, a resonance conductive member disposed below the damping element, a sensor disposed at a central region below the resonance conductive member, and a noise suppressing mechanism disposed at a peripheral annular region below the resonance conductive member. The noise suppressing mechanism includes, in an order from top to bottom, a foam ring and a metal ring. The metal ring has a plurality of cushioning elements thereon. Accordingly, the instrument can effectively suppress or otherwise eliminate interference on and noise sensed by the sensor caused by vibration of a casing when the percussion pad is percussed. This can greatly improve the sound effect and performance of the instrument.
