    摘要: There is disclosed a data interfacing method in a key-phone system and a subset key-phone system capable of speedily processing an event generated from a key-phone system by use of two data interfacing sections between the key-phone system and subset key-phone. The invention to increase the data interfacing speed includes: a first step for reading a state data of data received from a data receiver 43 and checking whether said received data is effective; a second step for reading the data from said data receiver 43 when the received data in said first step is effective, thereafter checking whether it is null data. If it is null data the system returns to said first step; a third step for processing the read data when it is not null data in said second step and sequentially outputting the first and second processed data to a data transmitter means 45, thereby ending the process; and a fourth step for outputting an error message to the key-phone when a parity error is generated in said first step and, then, ending the process.

    摘要: 8 kHz ASK signals are produced by an electronic business set instrument to function as control or feature signals. To avoid the problems of transmitting the 8 kHz ASK over voiceband telephone lines over long distance, the least significant bit (LSB) of each 8 bit word representative of voice signals is caused to be at a predetermined level (e.g., low) when an ASK signal is present and at the other level (e.g., high) when there is no ASK. At the receiving end, the state of the bit is used to regenerate the 8 kHz. Detection of the ASK is performed by a high-pass filter.

    摘要: There is disclosed a communication system and operating method wherein the manner in which all telephone calls are displayed at a station set allows uniform user operations to originate and terminate those calls. This is accomplished by having all calls dynamically assigned to the same set of general call appearances (buttons on a multibutton station set). There are no call appearances that are dedicated to specific call types. This allows the station set user to perform the same set of operations on all calls by using the same sequence of physical operations independent of the type of call. Additionally, the system may reserve one call appearance button at a station set for special use.

    摘要: A key telephone system having a plurality of key telephone sets and a key service unit. Intercom lines connect the key service unit and the key telephone sets. A synchronizing system in each key telephone set is provided for synchronizing signal transmissions from the corresponding individual key telephone sets of the key service unit with the transmissions from the key service unit. The individual synchronizing systems receive a multiplex transmission from the key service unit and the transmission has a multiplexed frequency signal as a control signal and also has a voice signal. The control signal includes control transmission data to the synchronizing system and includes a start bit following a fixed number of signals having a binary state opposite to a binary state of the start bit. Circuitry is provided including a high pass filter which removes the voice signal and for converting the frequency shift signal free of the voice signal to the transmission data control signal with control transmission data. Detection circuitry detects the reception of the start bit and develops an output and other circuitry receives the output and determines it is a synchronizing signal and develops a reset pulse. A shift clock pulse generator receives the reset pulse and develops output timing shift clock pulses effecting synchronization of transmissions between the key service unit and the corresponding key telephone set.
