Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product, implementing management of a telephony system comprising one or more PBX systems (PBX) having data repositories having entity information, a temporary data repository comprising entity information from entities in the PBX, and a management repository comprising site information. The method includes obtaining a rule matching entities explicitly defined in the PBX to sites not explicitly defined in the PBX, obtaining entity identifier; obtaining entity information using the entity identifier, comprising querying the temporary repository, applying the rule against the entity, to match a site with which the entity is associated, obtaining site information, and performing an action with respect to the entity based on the site information. Updates to device information to be persistently available is implemented in the data repository of the PBX, and content of the temporary data repository is periodically replaced with data obtained from the data repositories.

Abstract: To enable provision of various extension services to a terminal apparatus connected to an external exchange. A first gateway (12) registers an extension number of a terminal apparatus (30) to an extension control means (11). A flow control means (13) routes an outgoing call originated from the terminal apparatus (30) and an outgoing call addressed to the terminal apparatus (30) between the first gateway (12) and a second gateway (14). When receiving the outgoing call originated from the terminal apparatus (30) from the first gateway (12), the extension control means (11) processes the outgoing call as an outgoing call from the extension number of the terminal apparatus (30). In addition, when an outgoing call addressed to the extension number of the terminal apparatus (30) is made, the extension control means (11) transmits the outgoing call addressed to the terminal apparatus (30) to the first gateway (12).

Abstract: Incoming call signal reception means receives an incoming call signal including a caller number, caller information, and ring type information. Image generation means generates, based on the incoming call signal, a caller information image including at least a portion of the caller information as character information. Telephone dictionary registering means registers the caller number, caller text information, and the caller information image in a telephone dictionary. Incoming call screen display means receives the caller number and acquires the registered caller text information and the caller information image corresponding to the received caller number from the telephone dictionary. Incoming call screen display means displays an incoming call screen including the caller text information and the caller information image.

Abstract: Voice and video features of a software platform are integrated to enable customization of software services of the software platform on a customer-basis. Routing rules are defined to route calls to certain phone numbers or extensions to certain software services. Abstract: A mobile application gateway configured to interconnect mobile communication devices on a cellular network with an enterprise network is provided. The mobile application gateway includes a voice and data signaling gateway configured to provide routing functionalities, service functionalities and admission control. A gateway GPRS support node (GGSN) is configured to establish a secure data session between one or more of the mobile communication devices and the enterprise network by establishing a GPRS tunneling protocol (GTP) tunnel between a carrier-hosted serving GPRS support node (SGSN) and the GGSN.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable medium for provisioning communication services by an IP-based femtocell network is provided. Service of a user equipment may be transferred from one femtocell to another femtocell via a femtocell handoff procedure. Femtocell systems of the femtocell network perform link quality measurements and may distribute the link quality measurements to neighbor femtocells. A femtocell system may periodically evaluate the link quality with the user equipment. If an evaluation is made that the user equipment needs to be transferred to another site, the servicing femtocell site may evaluate the most recent link quality measurements received from neighboring femtocell sites and select a femtocell site for handoff. In the event that the femtocell network is deployed in an area serviced by a macrocellular network, handoff routines may provide preference for transferring the user equipment to a target femtocell system rather than a macrocell site.
