摘要： Disclosed herein are an artificial marble using multicolor chips, particularly striped chips, and a method for preparing the artificial marble. Since the artificial marble comprises multicolor chips in a new form together with conventional single-color chips, it enables achievement of various appearances, including designs and colors, thereby being highly differentiated from conventional artificial marbles containing combinations of single-color chips as well as displaying patterns and designs closely resembling natural granite.

摘要： An infant viewing auto mirror comprising a main panel having a reflective surface (i.e., mirror) exposed in the front side or surface thereof, and a flap affixed to the rear surface thereof. The flap is releasably secured to the rear surface of the main panel through the use of complimentary snaps. In addition to the main panel, the auto mirror comprises a mounting strap which is extensible about and removably attachable to a headrest through the use of a strip of Velcro disposed adjacent one end of the strap which is itself releasably engageable to a portion of the strap adjacent the opposite end thereof. Protruding from one side of the strap in the approximate center thereof is a dome-shaped support fabricated from hard foam. Extending diametrically across the support is a strip of fabric material. When the strap is properly secured to the headrest, the foam support (and hence the strip) is forwardly presented. The main panel is cooperatively engaged to the strap by advancing or “threading” the flap of the main panel between the fabric strip and foam support of the strap, the main panel being maintained in releasable engagement to the strap by thereafter snapping the flap to the rear surface of the main panel.

摘要： A combination mirror and amusement system for entertaining and amusing a child in a vehicle. A mirror assembly attachable to a vehicle seat includes a mirror and a frame surrounding the mirror. The frame has at least one ornamented portion and at least one appearing character portion. The appearing character portion in turn includes a sheet of plastic film having a visible front side and a reverse side. The sheet of plastic film has the characteristic of a “one-way” mirror which appears as a mirrored surface on the front side in the absence of illumination from the reverse side. A character image is printed on the reverse side A lamp behind the reverse side renders the character image visible from said front side when illuminated.

The device includes a cylindrical luminous element having an open end and a closed end, and being adapted to receive an illuminant, which may be an incandescent, chemical or solid state light source, at its open end. Various embodiments include auxiliary structures to enhance the seal between the balloon and the luminous element, to close the open end of the illuminant, to facilitate routing of electrical wires, to support the illuminant in the luminous element, to enhance support of the balloon relative to the luminous element, to tether the balloon to a fixed structure, and combinations of the above.
