Abstract: A reactive resin contains at least one accelerator with high reactivity and at least one accelerator with low reactivity. A combination of at least one accelerator with high reactivity and at least one accelerator with low reactivity can be used in a reactive resin system. An accelerator composition can be used for a reactive resin system containing at least one accelerator with high reactivity and at least one accelerator with low reactivity.

Abstract: A binder composition includes an epoxidized vegetable oil or a derivative thereof having an epoxy group content of 1 to 12 weight percent, based on the total weight of the epoxidized vegetable oil; a carboxyl-functionalized resin; and a liquid reactive diluent. A combined acid value of the carboxyl-functionalized resin and the liquid reactive diluent is 50 to 500. Uses of the binder composition, for example in composites, coatings, elastomer formulations, and adhesives are also disclosed.

Abstract: A layered body, which has a change in texture derived from zirconia, particularly a change in translucency and is suitable as a dental prosthetic member, a precursor thereof, or a method for producing these. The layered body has a structure in which two or more layers containing zirconia containing a stabilizer are layered, the layered body including at least: a first layer containing zirconia having a stabilizer content of higher than or equal to 4 mol %; and a second layer containing zirconia having a stabilizer content different from that of the zirconia contained in the first layer. At least one layer contains one or more elements capable of coloring zirconia.

Abstract: A fiber reinforced polymer rebar composition and a method of forming the rebar composition is described. The method includes the steps of feeding a first fiber and a second fiber simultaneously through a preforming guide into a resin impregnator, pulling the fibers through the liquid polymeric resin in the resin impregnator to form a resin-soaked hybrid fiber, and passing the resin-soaked hybrid fiber through a heated stationary die where the resin of the resin-soaked hybrid fiber undergoes polymerization and cross-linking.

Abstract: A repair compound for use in all applications and particularly well-suited for large hole repair. The repair compound includes a latex resin, a thickener, fibers, and a filler material. In some embodiments, the repair compound is configured to exhibit pseudoplastic-type behavior. In some embodiments, the repair compound has a density of not greater than 4.0 lbs/gal. In some embodiments, the repair compound includes hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers of different morphologies. In some embodiments, the repair compound includes HASE-type thickeners. In some embodiments, the repair compound includes a bimodal distribution of hollow glass microspheres from two different strength/size curves.

Abstract: A method of finishing an interior wall includes the steps of preparing a substrate of building panels comprising gypsum, cement or combinations thereof, said substrate having a surface, followed by applying a coating to the substrate, said coating comprising 1-30% by weight of a latex emulsion binder, 30-80% by weight calcium sulfate hemihydrate, up to about 8% by weight of a set inhibiting agent and 20-60% by weight water.
