    Abstract: A device for introducing liquid additive into water flowing through a feed pipe of a domestic shower, wherein the device has a short length of pipe which is connected in the feed pipe, and is provided with means whereby some of the water flowing through the short pipe is deflected into a mixing chamber, wherein it mixes with the additive, and the mixture is fed back into the short length of pipe to join the main stream of water. The water is deflected into said cavity downstream of where the mixture returns to the interior of the short pipe, so that there is sufficient delay in the return of the water to the mainstream to effect mixing of the additive with the water in said chamber.

    Abstract: This specification discloses a shower with oil reservoir comprising two basic elements. These are a shower head that is generally conventional and a reservoir for bath oil mounted within the head. A tubular filling spout extends from the reservoir to the head, adjacent to the upper end of these members with its outer end having a removable closure. A perforated plate constitutes the lower end of the reservoir and cooperating therewith is a valve plate within the reservoir and mounted on the upper end of a plunger that is reciprocal in a central opening in the perforated plate and extends through a hole in the end plate assembly of the head. The lower end of the shower head takes the form of a pair of perforated plates, the inner of which is fixed while the outer plate is rotatable by a fin depending therefrom to adjust the amount and character of the oil water mixture emitted from the head.

    Abstract: A sprayer connectable to a hose and including a body having a compound four-position valve controlling a primary passageway and two sets of auxiliary passageways. An antisiphon device attached to the body connects the hose to the primary passageway, while an extension tube, also attached to the body, forms a continuation of the primary passageway and terminates in a spray nozzle. The auxiliary passageways, shunting the primary passageway, include a common reservoir mounted on the underside of the body for containing either a liquid soap or detergent or pellets of a soluble chemical, such as a pesticide or plant food additive compound. The valve, operable by a finger lever, may be shifted from an ''''off'''' position where the main passageway is closed, to a ''''rinse'''' position where only the primary passageway is open, to a ''''liquid'''' position where both the primary and a first set of auxiliary passageways are open, and to a ''''pellet'''' position where both the primary and the second set of auxiliary passageways are open.
