摘要： A ladder loading system includes a base frame and a stowage frame, wherein the stowage frame is rotatable relative to the base frame. The stowage frame and base frame are connected at a least one pivot having a main pivot axis. The ladder loading system includes a linkage mechanism. The linkage mechanism includes an idler link that rotates about an idler axis. The linkage mechanism also includes a coupling means for coupling the idler link to the stowage frame. That is, the rotation of the idler link is linked to the rotation of the stowage frame in a master and slave relationship. Suitably, due to the operation of the ladder loading system, rotation of the stowage frame drives rotation of the idler link about the idler axis. The linkage mechanism further includes a control member connected between the idler link and stowage frame.

The rollers and inner surfaces of the brackets and the sidewalls define a housing configured for disposal of a ladder.

摘要： An adjustable ladder attachment able to be secured to a vehicle to enhance user stability and safety when servicing the vehicle. The ladder attachment includes an outer ladder assembly with a pair of rails connected by steps, an inner ladder assembly with a pair of rails connected by steps, the inner ladder assembly rails being slidably mounted to the outer ladder assembly rails to one of a plurality of locking positions, and a platform rotatably mounted to a top portion of the inner ladder assembly. The outer ladder assembly is positioned on a ground surface proximate the vehicle and the platform is rotatably adjusted to rest on top of a tire of the vehicle, thereby enabling a user to stand on the platform or the steps of the ladder assemblies.

摘要： A mounting system for detachably storing ladders comprising at least one elongate member with a length and opposed first and second ends. The system also includes a ledge adapted to be movable along the length of the elongate member. A securing latch is provided which is adapted to be movable along the length of the elongate member. The securing latch is pivotally carried on the elongate member. The securing latch can have a gas spring with a body pivotally attached to the elongate member and a rod pivotally attached to the latch. The latch has a profile complimentary to a surface of said ladder.

摘要： A ladder support device removably securable to the hitch receiver of a vehicle. The ladder support device comprises a frame having adjustable ground engaging legs. The frame includes a pivoting arm to be removably secured to the hitch of a vehicle to allow the frame to be positioned in a desired orientation relative to the vehicle. The frame includes a pair of brackets for receiving the feet of an extension ladder therein. Further, the frame comprises a pair of telescopic support arms that extend upward from the frame and that can be secured to a portion of the extension ladder so as to secure the ladder in an upright, angled orientation without having to rest the ladder against a support surface, such as the side of a building.

摘要： A portable, foldable step ladder in a deployed configuration straddles a tire of a truck, tractor or other heavy vehicle, allowing an operator and mechanic to easily climb toward the engine compartment. A top step rests on the uppermost portion of the tire tread. A middle step and a bottom step are suspended from the top step and, together with their suspensory structure, are foldable into proximity with the bottom surface of the top step. On each side of the top step, a hand rail has a lower portion rotatably connected to the side of the top step near the front thereof. Each hand rail has a transverse portion extending toward the rear of the top step and, attached to the transverse portion, a rear portion extending downward and connected to the sides of the top step near the rear thereof. The hand rail assembly engages the side walls of the tire in hook-like fashion, stabilizing the top step, while the top step supports the hand rail assembly at four points. The hand rail rear portion is removable from the top step, whereupon the top step swings down between the hand rail front portions. The hand rail transverse portions are then rotatable relative to the lower portions, swinging the rear portions into front and rear abutment with the compactly folded step assembly, securing the step assembly.
