Abstract: An adapter and a method of controlling a charging process are provided. The adapter includes a power converting circuit and a control circuit. The power converting circuit is configured to convert inputted alternating current to generate output voltage and output current of the adapter, the power converting circuit comprising a secondary filter circuit. The control circuit is coupled to the secondary filter circuit and configured to control the secondary filter circuit to operate when the adapter operates in the first charging mode, so that the adapter outputs constant direct current, and configured to control the secondary filter circuit not to operate when the adapter operates in the second charging mode, so that the adapter outputs an alternating current or a pulsating direct current.

Abstract: An adapter and a charging control method are provided, the adapter includes a power conversion unit, a voltage feedback unit, a current feedback unit and a power adjusting unit. An input end of the power adjusting unit is coupled to an output end of the voltage feedback unit and an output end of the current feedback unit respectively, and an output end of the power adjusting unit is coupled to the power conversion unit. The power adjusting unit is configured to receive a voltage feedback signal and a current feedback signal, and to stabilize the output voltage and the output current of the adapter when the voltage feedback signal indicates that the output voltage of the adapter reaches a predetermined target voltage or when the current feedback signal indicates that the output current of the adapter reaches a predetermined target current.

Abstract: An adapter, a charging control method and a charging system are provided. The adapter includes: a power converter, configured to convert input alternating current to obtain an output voltage and an output current of the adapter, the output current of the adapter being a current with a first pulsating waveform; a sampling and holding unit, coupled to the power converter, and configured to sample the current with the first pulsating waveform in a sampling state, and to hold a peak value of the current in a holding state; a current sampling controller, coupled to the sampling and holding unit, and configured to determine whether the sampling and holding unit is in the holding state, and to sample the peak value of the current with the first pulsating waveform held by the sampling and holding unit when the sampling and holding unit is in the holding unit.

Abstract: An adapter, a charging control method and charging system are disclosed. The adapter includes a primary unit, a power adjustment unit and a secondary unit. The primary unit converts an input alternating current into a first current with a first pulsating waveform. The adapter is capable of operating in a constant current mode. A peak value of the first current is greater than a current value corresponding to a current limiting point of the constant current mode. The power adjustment unit samples current outputted by the adapter to obtain a current sampling value, modules the first current according to the current sampling value. The secondary unit converts current coupled from the primary unit to the secondary unit into the current. The current outputted by the adapter is a second current with a second pulsating waveform. A peak value of the second current is equal to the current value corresponding to the current limiting.

Abstract: A power supply apparatus includes a first circuit, a second circuit, a switcher configured to switch between a power supplied state and a power interrupted state, a driver configured to output a signal for switching the state of the switcher, an adjusting unit, a first control unit, a second control unit, a first communication portion, and a second communication portion. The first control unit is operated by power supplied by a signal generated in the first communication portion. The first control unit transmits, to the second communication portion, information about a detection result. The second control unit controls the adjusting unit based on the information. The first control unit outputs a predetermined signal for causing the driver to output the switching signal for putting the switcher into the interrupted state in a case where abnormality occurs. The driver outputs the switching signal for putting the switcher into the interrupted state based on the predetermined signal.

Abstract: Provided are a charging system, a protection method and a power adapter. The charging system comprises: a battery, a first rectification unit, a switch unit, a transformer, a second rectification unit), a voltage sampling circuit, a control unit, and a comparator unit. The first rectification unit outputs the voltage with the first pulsating waveform. The switch unit outputs the modulated voltage with the first pulsating waveform. The transformer outputs the voltage with the second pulsating waveform. The second rectification unit outputs the voltage with the third pulsating waveform. The control unit adjusts a duty cycle of a control signal, such that the voltage of a third pulsation waveform meets the charging requirement of the battery. The comparator unit applies a comparison signal to the switch unit when the voltage sampling value is greater than the reference voltage value, so as to control the switch unit to forcibly open.
