摘要： A ball pickup hopper on supporting wheels has a bottom panel contoured with channels extending from a front of the hopper to the supporting wheels. Extending forward of the hopper are opposing left and a right herding rails directing balls in front of the apparatus into the channels as the apparatus is moved over a ground surface. The supporting wheels are positioned and adapted for receiving balls moving through the channels, compressively rotating and lifting the balls between the supporting wheels and the hopper, and expelling the balls into the hopper through openings. A top cover is fitted to enclose the hopper and to alternately act as a base for supporting the hopper at an appropriate height for use in ball practice.

摘要： The golf ball retriever is a retrieval device for recovering golf balls from water hazards or the like. The golf ball retriever has a handle connected to a ball receiving body. The ball receiving body has a pair of posterior fingers, several anterior fingers and a cavity. The cavity holds the golf ball once a user has drawn or forced the ball into the cavity. The user forces the golf ball into the cavity by pressing the golf ball retriever down upon the golf ball, allowing the flexible anterior fingers to flex outward then enclose about the golf ball. Additionally, the user may position the golf ball retriever in front of the golf ball and pull backwards over the ball. The posterior fingers guide the golf ball into the cavity where the ball becomes trapped. Further, the inner surface of the retriever has at least one protuberance to assist the golf ball into the cavity and to retain the ball in the cavity.

The retriever comprises a substantially vertical and substantially frusto conical passage (or throat) radially enclosed in the bottom the head. Because variations exist in regulation golf ball size and exterior, the diameter and taper of the throat is selected to be suitable for a variety of golf balls. A release hole extends though the head from the throat to a top surface of the head, and allows easy ejection of a ball from the throat. The head further includes aligning (or aiming) marks on opposite sides of the release hole to facilitate aligning the head for a stroke.

摘要： A golf ball retriever includes a dome shaped or cylindrical head having a sidewall defining an interior cavity. The head has a first open golf ball receiving end and a second occluded end. A deformable retaining member extends from a first to a second location on the sidewall as a chord adjacent the first end. The distance from the retaining member to the most distant sidewall portion along a diameter generally perpendicular to the retaining member is slightly less that the diameter of a golf ball so that a golf ball that has been urged into the cavity is captured therein. In one embodiment, the sidewall includes fingers extending toward said first end one or more openings may be provided in the sidewall to allow a user to insert a finger into the cavity to urge a golf ball out of the cavity. The head may be pivotally mounted to a telescoping shaft.

摘要： A tool mounted to the end of a golf club or other handle serves as means for retrieving a golf ball, for repairing a golf ball or club mark on the playing surface and for preventing the club grip from contacting the ground when the club is laid horizontally. The tool comprises a head detachably connected to the grip end of a golf club. In a preferred embodiment, the head includes a tang which fits into a slotted plug in the end of the club shaft under the grip. In an alternate embodiment, the head includes a yoke that cups over the outer radius of the golf club grip and is held in place by an external strap. The head has three flat surfaces serving as a shelf for lifting the golf ball and two walls forming a corner for the ball to rest against and for keeping the ball captive during the retrieval process. Two prongs protrude from the shelf for repairing ball marks. These two prongs or the body of the tool also serve to hold the grip off the ground when the club is laid horizontally.

摘要： A practice putting device according to the present invention is an annular collar sized for a snug friction fit onto a conventional golf ball. The collar in use is placed on a putting surface so that the golf ball may be aimed at the collar opening when the collar is laid on its side. Upon a successful putt, a golf ball becomes frictionally lodged within the collar. The collar has a one inch depth which, when the putt has the correct weight, and is aimed exactly so as to lodge in the collar, the collar will flip up so that its opening is in a horizontal plane, and so as to hold the golf ball in the manner of an egg sitting in an egg cup.

A first sensor means is provided for detecting when a uniquely identified game ball lands in the first target area and for signalling the golfer and a remote monitor upon such detection.

The golf practice cage comprises a frame with an enclosure substantially surrounding the frame. The enclosure has a back portion with a fold extending in front of the back portion to form a pocket to catch golf balls and funnel them towards the central location. Alternatively to the fold, a base net may reside within an area defined by the frame and the enclosure. The base net funnels caught balls to the central location.
