    摘要: A linear-to-rotary converter assembly includes a housing having a first portion, a second portion, and a bore in which a plunger is slidably disposed. The plunger includes a plunger body having threads and a plunger boss extending from the housing. At least one of a one-way bearing or a disk is disposed within the housing bore. A rod is disposed within the housing bore and has a first portion having threads engaging the plunger threads and a second portion extending through the at least one of the one-way bearing or the disk. At least one magnet is disposed within the housing adjacent to the one-way bearing or the disk. Linear movement of the plunger between a firing position and a recoil position rotates the rod and the one-way bearing or the disk in a first direction as the magnet acts on the at least one of the one-way bearing or the disk.

    摘要: A semi-automatic or automatic rifle comprising a barrel attached to and upper receiver and including a compressible bolt carrier extension system. The compressible bolt carrier extension system includes a bolt carrier, an extension spring, two pins, and a reciprocation bolt carrier extension piece. As a whole, the compressible bolt carrier extension system makes possible the use of elongated upper and lower receivers to be used for chambering long-action or other center fire cartridges for use with AR rifles such as the M-16, and M4 etc., eliminating the need for any buffer or buffer tubes other than those commercially available. A further advantage of the compressible bolt carrier extension system is the reduction of felt recoil as the system fully loads during the recoil stroke as it pushes against the buffer absorbing additional recoil energy. The system can be incorporated into firearms using a variety of cartridges.

    摘要: To prevent inertial forces from inadvertently releasing the slide of a semi-automatic pistol into battery, a slide stop retention mechanism is mounted on the frame. A finger extends from the mechanism and pivots under the force of a biasing spring into engagement with the slide stop when the slide is in the open position. The finger supports the slide stop. A force applied to the slide stop, either manually or via a cam on the slide when the slide is pulled back and released, will move the finger out of its supporting position and allow the slide to move to battery.
