摘要: A method and a device allow to determine the contrast sensitivity threshold of the eyes of a user in an automatic manner without requiring an experienced examiner or active attention of the user. The method includes: a) providing a dataset of track data including data of eye movements, wherein the eye movements are stimulated to elicit an optokinetic nystagmus in the eyes of the user and wherein the track data are related to a particular contrast and spatial frequency of the stimulus; b) estimating at least one velocity component of the eye movement; c) comparing the velocity component with a velocity threshold; d) comparing a fraction of the track data which exceed the velocity threshold with a fractional threshold for the dataset, which is classified as eliciting the optokinetic nystagmus at the particular contrast of the stimulus; and e) determining the contrast sensitivity threshold of the eyes of the user.

摘要: A data record contains at least the following data values: spatial coordinates of a reference point at each eye of the wearer; a spatial direction vector for specifying a viewing direction of the wearer through the spectacle lens; and a spatial rim curve or edge curve. The data record can be used to produce a spectacle lens. A method and a computer program for generating the data record, and a method for producing the spectacle lens are also disclosed. It is possible to produce the spectacle lens after a single capture of a data record for adapting the spectacle lenses to the wearer of the pair of spectacles and to the spectacle frame selected by the wearer. A different spectacle lens as the spectacle lens originally selected can subsequently be used as the spectacle lens without having to record a further data record for the adaptation for the wearer.

摘要: A spectacle lens has an object-side front surface and an eye-side rear surface and is made of a base material that includes an ultraviolet (UV) absorber, which functions as a band-stop filter for UV light. In a first variant, the band-stop filter has an upper cut-off wavelength between 325 nm and 360 with a transmittance of 2% for light which is incident on the front surface, transmitted through the spectacle lens, and emerges from the rear surface for each angle of incidence between 0° and 15°. Additionally or alternatively, in a second variant, the spectacle lens has an antireflective coating with a reflectance below 5% for UV light in a wavelength range between 280 nm and a threshold wavelength, which lies between 325 nm and 350 nm, and a reflectance of 5% at the threshold wavelength for each angle of incidence between 30° and 45°.

摘要: An adjustable spectacle lens has a first lens element and a second lens element arranged one behind the other along an optical axis of the lens. The first and second lens element are configured to vary their combined optical properties when moved relative to each other in a direction transverse to the optical axis. The adjustable lens element is an adjustable progressive lens element. The first and second lens element are configured to vary at least one of a size and a power of the near, the distance, and the intermediate portion relative to each other, when the first lens element and the second lens element are moved relative to each other in the direction transverse to the optical axis. The first and second lens elements can be configured to conjointly provide a near, a distance and an intermediate portion that can be changed depending on the visual task.

摘要: A device for measuring the optical effect of an ophthalmic lens, in particular a spectacle lens, includes a display system, an image acquisition system, and a computer unit. During measurement, the lens is arranged in a measurement volume of the device. The display system displays a test structure and the image acquisition system acquires image data of the test structure from multiple viewpoints using imaging optical paths which pass through the lens. The computer unit determines the three-dimensional shape of the lens on the basis of the image data and calculates an optical effect of the lens on the basis of its three-dimensional shape. A corresponding method and computer program are also disclosed.
