Abstract:
A character recognition section generates character recognition result information resulting from character recognition of image information. An image information cutout section cuts out character recognition image information, corresponding to an area as to which the character recognition is performed, from the image information. A recognition result generation section generates recognition result information which is composed of the character recognition result information and the character recognition image information. A recognition result transmission section transmits the recognition result information to other terminals using electronic mail. As a result, an information communications apparatus of the invention can make transmissions of information to the wide area, without increasing the network load, which is to be used for the determination of whether or not a character recognition has been accurately performed.
Abstract:
A server apparatus and a method for electronic mail transmission control are provided that enables electronic mail communication, even if a user does not know information regarding destination, such as a mail account, in advance. The server apparatus includes a receiver that receives an electronic mail data including a destination telephone number from a sender terminal. A memory section stores at least one telephone number and at least one IP address in association with each other. A transmitter obtains an IP address that is pre-associated with the destination telephone number from the memory section and transmits the electronic mail data to the obtained IP address.
Abstract:
When a multicast instruction is input, a facsimile apparatus transmits an input plurality of sub-addresses together with image data to a repeater in a single communication transaction. Thus, effective communication can be performed.
Abstract:
A pickup roller is movable in a vertical direction and pulls out papers to the paper feed rollers, is provided. The pickup roller moves down towards the papers stacked on the paper tray. A front edge alignment member that aligns the front edge of the papers and a stopper that controls rotation of the front edge alignment member engages the front edge alignment member. A stopper release member pivots the stopper to release it from the front edge alignment member in synchronization to the up and down movement of the pickup roller.
Abstract:
An IFAX on a transmitting end gains access to an ISP on the transmitting end by dialup. The IFAX on the transmitting end transmits mail transmission notice to an IFAX on a receiving end via a PSTN after transmitting e-mail to the ISP on the transmitting end. Thereafter, the IFAX on the receiving end gains access to an ISP on the receiving end by dialup in accordance with mail transmission notice and receives e-mail stored in its own postbox. The mail transmission notice is performed using a facsimile communication protocol. The mail transmission notice includes at least one of transmission finished notice information, sent data information, and receiving information. This eliminates the unavailing mail check connection and reduces access charge at a dialup IFAX of the Internet facsimile.
Abstract:
Recording sheet-type information employed in a special use is set beforehand in a printing apparatus. An information processing apparatus connected the printing apparatus through predetermined communication media inquires of the recording sheet-type information set in the printing apparatus. Since the recording sheet-type information is informed from the printing apparatus, the information processing apparatus indicates the recording sheet-type information informed from the printing apparatus.
