Abstract:
In color reproduction for a dental restorative material, in order to achieve a color that closely matches the color of the natural tooth, one technique that is used is to form a mill blank by laminating layers of materials having different colors. However, misidentification of layers frequently occurs. The present invention is a dental mill blank having a plurality of layers and the dental mill blank has a visual identifying portion by which the plurality of layers are visually identifiable. The visual identifying portion may be provided by color or by structure. Providing the visual identifying portion by color refers to coloring the surface of a layer of the dental mill blank and providing the visual identifying portion by structure refers to forming microscopic or macroscopic irregularities in the entire periphery or part of a layer surface.

A cartridge in which a pipe can be retained without increasing the number of components or suppressing pushing-out of a content. A length L over which the outer peripheral surface of a pipe and the inner peripheral surface of a through hole contact each other when the pipe is press-fitted into the through hole, an average outside diameter R of the pipe in the range of the length L over which the pipe is press-fitted into the through hole, and an average inside diameter N of the through hole in the range of the length L are determined to meet: L×R×π×(1−N/R)×3.3≧W and 0.01
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a deagglomerated glass filler for sustained ion release for imparting ion sustained-release property to a dental material for use in the dental field. The dental material means a material for use in filling, prosthetic repair, temporary sealing, temporary bonding, preparation of a prosthetic appliance, adhesion/luting, pit and fissure sealing, or the like in a dental treatment. A glass filler for sustained ion release that sufficiently continuously releases a metal ion present in a glass composition as compared with a conventional glass filler for sustained ion release has been demanded in the field of a dental material. Such an object is achieved by a glass filler for sustained ion release that is obtained by performing a silane compound treatment step and an acidic polymer treatment step and that is controlled to satisfy a specific D50 particle size relationship in each of the steps.
Abstract:
Provided is a nozzle mounting structure of a component container by which a nozzle configured to rotate between a first position and a second position may be mounted to a housing without the need for a high processing precision and a high assembly precision. A pair of shaft portions support a body with the nozzle unitarily formed therewith. The nozzle rotates between the first position and the second position. A curved convex surface provided on the body is pressed against a curved concave surface provided on a first bottom wall portion of a housing by a pressing force imparted from a support portion.
Abstract:

A composite material containing a silanated filler, a polymerizable monomer, and a polymerization initiator, and may be produced by a process which includes in order of a mixed polymerizable monomer preparing step, a mixed polymerizable monomer preserving step, a composite material preparing step, a composite material preserving step, a composite material filling step, and a small quantity preserving container preserving step.
Abstract:
Provided is a two-component mixing container in which a piston member may be capable of a rotation motion operation and a linear motion operation without the need for a complex guide groove. Two or more spring structure portions are provided at the piston member. The two or more spring structure portions impart a pressing force on an inner wall surface of the third cylindrical portion. Two or more fitting grooves are formed in the third cylindrical portion. In this fitting state, the piston member and a second-component containing member rotate together without contact portions getting out of the fitting grooves. When a force of a predetermined level or higher toward a third bottom wall portion is applied to an operating rod portion with a second-component containing chamber and a mixing chamber being communicable with each other, the contact portions get out of the fitting grooves.
