Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for handling collision between sidelink feedback and sidelink data in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method, a User Equipment (UE) is (pre-)configured to perform one or more sidelink transmissions on multiple carriers, wherein the UE is able to transmit a first number of carriers among the multiple carriers at the same time. The UE selects a first resource for transmitting a first sidelink transmission in a first slot on a first carrier. The UE derives a second resource for transmitting a PSFCH delivering a feedback in a second slot on a second carrier, wherein the second slot is at least partly overlapping with the first slot in a time domain. The UE determines whether to prioritize either the PSFCH or the first sidelink transmission based on a rule when the number of carriers which the UE identifies to transmit in the overlapped slot exceeds the first number of carriers.

In one embodiment, the method includes the first device performing sensing on a first sidelink resource pool. The method further includes the first device determining one or more sets of resources based on one or more characteristics or one or more characteristic values associated with the sensing. The method also includes the first device transmitting a signal to at least a second device, wherein the signal indicates the one or more sets of resources and indicates the one or more characteristics or one or more characteristic values for the one or more sets of resources.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example, a first device receives a configuration and/or an information, wherein the configuration and/or the information is indicative of a DRX pattern, of the second device, associated with monitoring the sidelink resource pool. The first device transmits a signal to at least the second device on a first opportunity of a plurality of opportunities, wherein the signal indicates the second device to perform monitoring and/or sensing for a first duration. The first device selects a first candidate resource in the sidelink resource pool, wherein the first candidate resource is in a sleep time of the DRX pattern of the second device. The first device transmits a first sidelink transmission, including a sidelink data and/or a sidelink traffic, on the first candidate resource to the second device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of an User Equipment (UE). In one embodiment, the method includes the UE deriving a first pathloss value from a first pathloss reference of a serving cell, wherein the first pathloss value is used for deriving a power headroom value included in a first power headroom report. The method also includes the UE deriving a second pathloss value from a second pathloss reference of the serving cell after deriving the first pathloss value, wherein the second pathloss reference is used for power control for a first Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) transmission on the serving cell. The method further includes the UE deriving the pathloss change based on the first pathloss value and the second pathloss value. In addition, the method includes the UE determining whether a second power headroom report is triggered based on whether the pathloss change is more than a threshold.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a first User Equipment (UE). In one embodiment, the method includes the first UE being configured or pre-configured with a sidelink resource pool for sidelink transmission. The method also includes the first UE being triggered to select resources for a TB (Transport Block). The method further includes the first UE selecting a first resource for transmission of the TB. In addition, the method includes the first UE selecting a second resource for HARQ-ACK (Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request-Acknowledgement) based retransmission of the TB, wherein the second resource is later than the first resource, and a time gap between the first resource and the second resource is larger than or equal to a first time duration. Furthermore, the method includes the first UE transmitting a SCI (Sidelink Control Information) and the TB on the first resource in a slot to a second UE, wherein the SCI indicates the first resource and the second resource.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a first device, wherein the first device is configured with a sidelink resource pool comprising a frequency region of sidelink data transmission and multiple frequency regions of sidelink feedback transmission, wherein the multiple frequency regions of sidelink feedback transmission in one TTI (Transmission Time Interval) are separately associated with the one frequency region of sidelink data transmission in multiple TTIs, and wherein the multiple frequency regions of sidelink feedback transmission in the one TTI are non-overlapped with each other in frequency domain and fully overlapped in time domain. In one embodiment, the method includes the first device receiving a sidelink data transmission from a second device within the frequency region of sidelink data transmission in a first TTI. The method further includes the first device generating a feedback information associated with the sidelink data transmission. The method also includes the first device determining or deriving a sidelink feedback resource within one frequency region of sidelink feedback transmission among the multiple frequency regions of sidelink feedback transmission, wherein the one frequency region of sidelink feedback transmission is determined or derived based on association with the first TTI. In addition, the method includes the first device performing a sidelink feedback transmission for delivering the feedback information to the second device on the sidelink feedback resource.
