Abstract: Facilitating an interference leakage dependent resource reservation protocol in advanced networks (e.g., 5G, 6G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a method can comprise defining, by a system comprising a memory and a processor, a resource reservation procedure that associates respective amounts of reserved resources available for a mobile device based on a transmission beam width and a transmission power level of the mobile device. The method also can comprise selecting, by the system, an amount of reserved resources from the respective amounts of reserved resources available based on the transmission beam width and the transmission power level of the mobile device.

Abstract: A system facilitating compact signaling design for reserved resource configuration via a multi-dimensional bitmap is provided for a wireless communication system. A method comprises: determining a multi-dimensional bitmap (MDB) in time and frequency domains, wherein the time domain is represented by an orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) symbol and the frequency domain is represented by an OFDM subcarrier. The determining comprises: selecting a group of reserved resource allocations of the MDB in which data information is not to be communicated; assigning a first value for the OFDM multiplexed symbol and the OFDM subcarrier according to a location of elements of the group of reserved resource allocations; and assigning, to other portions of the MDB other than the group of reserved resource allocations, a second value distinct from the first value. The method also comprises facilitating, by the device, transmitting the MDB to a mobile device.

Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards dynamic resource coordination that supports multi-hop based relaying for integrated access and backhaul (IAB) in New Radio (5G). Described is a technology in which an IAB node and a serving parent node use wireless signaling to dynamically adapt downlink and uplink resources used for access and backhaul links. An IAB node receives scheduling data from a parent node, configures a frame structure comprising mobile termination function subframes and distributed unit component subframes, and communicates data based on the frame structure. The parent node explicitly or implicitly indicates that a portion of the scheduling data is adaptable, e.g., sends a dynamic frame structure coordination message. In response, the IAB node can adapt the frame structure into a modified frame structure and can communicate further data based on the modified frame structure.

Abstract: A system facilitating incremental downlink control information (DCI) design to support DCI scheduling in a wireless communication system is provided. In one embodiment, the an apparatus comprises: a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations comprise: receiving first downlink control information associated with a first search space of a downlink control channel, wherein the first search space is of a first size; and receiving second downlink control information associated with a second search space of the downlink control channel, wherein the second search space is of a second size that is less than the first size, and wherein the second downlink control information comprises incremental downlink control information that is distinct from the first downlink control information.

Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards multidimensional grid sampling for radio frequency power feedback. A mobile device can sample radio frequency signal power at multiple sample points, and can send sample values to a base station. The multiple sample points can be defined with reference to a grid having a first dimension and a second dimension, such as time and frequency, or delay and Doppler. A variety of techniques are provided to define the multiple sample points.

Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for power control system in a multi-hop integrated access and backhaul network. In a multi-hop integrated access and backhaul network a donor node can communicate with user equipment devices and relay nodes that have varying power levels, and to avoid receiving uplink transmissions with varying power levels which can impact automatic gain control systems and lower overall throughput, the power control system disclosed herein can manage the power levels of the relay node in order to reduce the difference in power levels. In one embodiment, the power control system can schedule relay node devices to transmit uplink transmissions alongside UE devices that have a high signal strength. In another embodiment, the power control system can schedule relay nodes and UE devices to separate symbols within a time slot. In another embodiment, the power control system can perform closed loop power control management at the relay node to reduce the power level for the uplink transmission.
