Abstract:
An electronic device with a camera invokes a wireless communications pairing mode for pairing the electronic device with an external device. The electronic device obtains an image via the camera. The image contains a pattern displayed on a display screen of the external device, and the pattern comprises identifying information of the external device. The electronic device receives data from the external device, determines whether the received data corresponds with the identifying information, and, in response to a determination that the received data corresponds with the identifying information, registers the external device as a paired device. In some examples, the electronic device is a smartphone and the external device is a wearable electronic device. Pairing the electronic device and the external device may allow the devices to exchange information and operate interactively with one another.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a touch-sensitive surface, a display, and one or more sensors to detect intensity of contacts: displays a first user interface that includes objects of a first type and objects of a second type; detects a first portion of a first input that includes an increase in characteristic intensity of a first contact above an intensity threshold while a focus selector is over a respective user interface object; in response, displays supplemental information associated with the respective user interface object; while displaying the supplemental information, detects an end of the first input; and, in response: if the respective user interface object is the first type of object, ceases to display the supplemental information; and, if the respective user interface object is the second type of object, maintains display of the supplemental information after detecting the end of the first input.
Abstract:
In response to detecting that an external device is within communication range of an electronic device and in accordance with a determination that the external device is in a pairing mode, the electronic device displays an affordance corresponding to a pairing application of the electronic device. In response to detecting that an external device is within communication range of an electronic device and in accordance with a determination that the external device is not in the pairing mode, the electronic device forgoes display of the affordance. In response to user input corresponding to selection of the affordance, the electronic device displays a user interface associated with initiating a process to pair the electronic device and the external device.
Abstract:
An electronic device displays a first application and a second application along an edge of the display and, while concurrently displaying the first and second applications, detects an edge-swipe gesture. in response, if the location corresponds to a location of a respective application on the display, the respective application is associated with standard edge-swipe gesture criteria, and the edge-swipe gesture meets the standard edge-swipe gesture criteria, the device performs a system operation that includes displaying a system user interface at a portion of the display previously occupied by at least a portion of the first application and at least a portion of the second application; if the location of the edge-swipe gesture corresponds to a location of the respective application, the respective application is associated with enhanced edge-swipe gesture criteria, and the edge-swipe gesture does not meet the enhanced edge-swipe gesture criteria, the device forgoes performing the system operation.
Abstract:
The file of this patent contains at least one drawing/photograph executed in color. Copies of this patent with color drawing(s)/photograph(s) will be provided by the Office upon request and payment of the necessary fee. FIG. 1 is a front view of a display screen or portion thereof with animated graphical user interface showing a first image of the claimed design; FIG. 2 is a second image thereof; FIG. 3 is a third image thereof; FIG. 4 is a fourth image thereof; and FIG. 5 is a fifth image thereof; FIG. 6 is another embodiment of a display screen or portion thereof with animated graphical user interface showing a first image of the claimed design; FIG. 7 is a second image thereof; FIG. 8 is a third image thereof; FIG. 9 is a fourth image thereof; and, FIG. 10 is a fifth image thereof. The broken lines in the figures show a display screen or portion thereof, and form no part of the claimed design. The appearance of the animated image sequentially transitions between the images shown in FIGS. 1-5 and FIGS. 6-10, respectively. The process or period in which one image transitions to another forms no part of the claimed design.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface: displays a first user interface that includes a plurality of selectable objects; while a focus selector is at a location that corresponds to a respective selectable object, detects an input that includes detecting a contact on the touch-sensitive surface; and in response to detecting the input: in accordance with a determination that detecting the input meeting input criteria, including a criterion that is met when the contact meets a respective input threshold, displays a menu that includes contact information for the respective selectable object overlaid on top of the first user interface; and in accordance with a determination that detecting the input includes detecting a liftoff of the contact without meeting the input criteria, replaces display of the first user interface with display of a second user interface.
