摘要: Example methods, apparatuses, and/or articles of manufacture are disclosed that may be implemented, in whole or in part, using one or more computing devices to process requests to execute instance of service functions in a service function chain. In one particular implementation, a request to execute an instance of a second service function in a service function change may be initiated prior to completion of an execution of an instance of a first service function in the service function chain.

摘要: The described technology is generally directed towards a message broker resource monitoring service that obtains message broker resource parameter data of a resource, based on communications of a message broker. Based on the resource parameter data and historical data, message broker resource monitoring service obtains a predicted message delivery time value, which can be in association with confidence. If the predicted message delivery time value satisfies a resource deletion criterion, e.g., the predicted message delivery time value, with sufficient confidence, exceeds a threshold value, the message broker resource monitoring service triggers an action to delete the resource. To obtain the predicted value, a regression such as symmetric conformal quantile regression can be applied to the parameter data, e.g., to obtain a predicted message delivery time/latency value.

摘要: Traditional streaming sequentially downloads content fragments one by one from one CDN. The disclosed streaming method concurrently downloads content fragments from multiple CDNs. It first creates a sequence of bundles of fragments, and then downloads a subsequent bundle by spreading requests to download the fragments within the bundle to multiple CDNs simultaneously with each CDN acting as a channel to download a different fragment. Depending on business needs, various request dispatching strategies can be deployed. When there is a volume based pricing contract with a CDN, a dispatch strategy is to send more requests to the CDN in order to reach contract volume therefore reduce unit cost. Another strategy is to send the request for the earliest fragment to the fastest CDN in order to reduce latency and possibility of buffer underrun. Fault tolerance can be provided by re-routing a request failed at a CDN to another CDN.

摘要: A method, computer program product, and computer system for placing, by a computing device, a user into a first queue on a first communication channel to converse with a second user. A trigger may be identified for the first communication channel. The user may be sent a self-service option based upon, at least in part, identifying the trigger for the first communication channel, wherein the self-service option is sent on an alternate communication channel while the user is in the first queue.

摘要: A system includes a plurality of shared network resources and a central server connected by a network. The central server receives from a first user a request for accessing a network resource. The central server identifies a plurality of user groups the first user is part of and determines a number of other users from the identified user groups who have the closest association with the first user. For each closely associated user of the first user, the central server simulates access to the requested network resource by the respective user based on a user group that provides to the other user access to the network resource. Based on results of the simulating, the central server determines a user group that provides a closest network path to the network resource and generates a recommendation to add the first user to the determined user group.
